Basic Hotel. Old fashioned. Good location, close to Old City and Shopping Malls (Tallinn Kaubamaja and Nautica ( Rimi Hyper). I paid 30 EUR for room with bathroom and breakfast incl. Not bad. What I didn’t like was very tiny pillow and thin blanket.
Good location - it's about a 10-15 minutes walk to the old town / city centre. Price was reasonable and the room was solid. I got a twin room instead of a single room, which was not extremely spacious but clean and reasonably equipped. My room faced the busy street, meaning it was a bit noisy at night - but overall, the noise level was not disturbing from my point of view. Some staff members were super friendly (one receptionist told me just to keep the smile on my face), while another one just told me "check-in is from 3pm" when I just walked it and mentioned that I have a reservation. Do not expect too much from the breakfast - it was a rather simple buffet. Boiled eggs were obviously left in the water for too long, and also the rest was not really convincing as far as taste is concerned. However, given the fact that it was already included in the price, it was alright. So overall, as long as you are looking for a rather clean room at decent fares and do not expect too much apart from that, Center Hotel is a good choice for you.…
Even one star is too much for this horrible hotel. Terrible rooms, terrible staf.... is it there any authority to check the quality of this building called Hotel? There is nothing to rescue, it must be canceled the authorisation as a guest house, NOW!!!! Vomiting place 🤮 I’ve been there on summer 2018, and still open, I can’t believe
The Center Hotel is well located, close to the port. We were satisfied with the staff at the front desk. It is worse with the equipment of the hotel: One toilet shared by men and women from several rooms, posoir none, the same at the washroom with shower.
Budget hotel, bathroom was quite new or freshly renovated. Only one towel for two days stayer, tried unsuccessfuly to ask for another one. A bit noisy (windows won't open nor close) Breakfast was ok. Good location
I decided to have one extra day in Tallinn after my friend had left, so picked a cheap hotel - Center Hotel. The price and location were good and the room was clean. It is basic though. No frills. The bed is small. You get one small towel. It was fine for just a night - I had to leave for the airport at 4am anyway, so didn't need to sleep much. A bit like a hostel-type room. It was quite noisy as it was on a busy street. You could also leave bags and they have some lockers you can pay to keep things more securely. The shower/bathroom have those pump soap type things. You don't get anything extra - but you can buy soap and other toiletries in the lobby. It was clean. Had a big mirror (always good for doing your hair) and powerpoints. I'd stay there again to save money, but it's not The Ritz. Staff were friendly and helpful.Though when I went down at 4am for a taxi the receptionist was not at reception. I think he was sleeping in the back somewhere. I rang the bell multiple times. It was 20mins before he came (I had mentioned to the receptionist in the daytime that I'd need to leave at 4am so maybe he set his alarm for 4am). Luckily, he called a cab and it was there in 2mins.…
Reception was helpful and polite. Some hotels posted inaccurate photos on the rooms offered, but not this one. Relatively clean and adequate. No A/C in the room (summer day?). Less than 15 minutes walk to the viru gate.
Fairly centrally located hotel, walking distance both to the ferry habour and the Old Town (opposite directions), also trams and buses in the main street. Much better standard than I feared, the room and bathroom were clean, and had all I needed. There was also a fridge in the room. The room was small but big enough for me, and clean. The room was not serviced during my 3 night stay, but I did not really need any service. The breakfast was simple, but sufficient. Good value for money.
Good location and cheap price is the only reasons to stay there. Economy rooms are very poor. I had room booked by company and when I arrived, I paid extra to get better room, what was also nothing special.
The location of the hotel is very central, 10-15min walking until the old town center. The personnel was helpful and nice, most of them understood english, which facilitated our trip. The cleanness of the room was not perfect, but it was far from horrible, although, in the room I stayed the walls could definitely be a bit cleaner. The room was small, and the pillows and beds were very soft. Breakfast is good enough. On the check out day, I left my baggage next to the reception, and they also have small lockers that only cost 0.20€.
