Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Conviniently located on a quiet street (US embassy is almost next door so much of the street is blocked from car traffic). Still, the old town is just 500 meters away by foot and the business center is also within walkin distance. The harbour and rest of the city are within reach by public transport or by the delightedly affordable taxis. Spacious rooms with all necessary amenities and nice spa area included in the price. Overall out of all the hotels I’ve stayed in Tallinn this place was probably best value for money. I could even consider 5 stars if it wasn’t the horrible coffee. Coming from Finland I’m particulary picky when it comes to coffee but this stuff was awful. However, otherwise the breakfast is perfectly ok and you can always compensate the bad coffee with complimentry sparking wine (which wasn’t bad at all).

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this city hotel not far from the popular tourist centre. It might be down an unassuming street but it is a top quality city hotel with great facilities and staff and a very good standard throughout. I booked a good sized room looking inside to the courtyard. You can’t see much but doesn’t matter. Had a comfy two person bed with great pillows. Nice big windows and curtains really blacked out the light. Nice size tv, good air con and space for clothes, safe and bar. Bathroom had a jacuzzi style bath and walk in shower. Good selection of extras and loads of towels. Fairly quiet throughout apart from the doors shutting. They are heavy and close with a thump. Lots of charging points and near bed plus foot lighting. Overall smart and clean room with everything you need. Breakfast and small bar area is quite plain but smart and tidy with decent amount of seating. Big hot food selection along with abundant continental options. Nice coffee and juice. Hotel has a cosy spa area in the basement. Loved using the big jacuzzi pool. Can’t swim in it but lovely to relax and bob about with the bubbles rushing all around. Had a sauna and steam room here too. The gym was an ok size with lots of kit. Finally, staff very helpful and friendly. Excellent English spoken. Walk to old town is about 10 mins. The area is a mix of older and new smart looking buildings. No problems of feeling unsafe. I believe there are some embassies in this area. Easy to cross roads and get to the popular areas.

We were given a room that did not have the amenities that were specified in the booking - we had booked a room with a kitchenette, we received a room with a kettle and two coffee cups. We had specified beforehand that we needed plates and cups for the kitchenette as we were traveling with a toddler - needlesd to say, this was not fullfilled. When we asked about the missing kitchenette, we were told that it was the same 'room class' and me pointing out, that our confirmation stated more than 40m2 and a kitchenette was overlooked. We got the room we had actually reserved the second day, but yet therw were no bowls and cuops in the room, we had to fetch those our selves, also we had to move the baby cot ourselves from the first room to the second, the new room was not set up to our requirements. The complimentary sparkling water had gone flat and was past it's expiration date and the cleaning staff did not remove dirty plates/cups from the room, nor did they bring in clean once instead, also the instant coffee was not refilled in the room. When giving feedback at check out, the clerk rolled his eyes and behaved rudly toward me and claimed that, the room we originally got was the same class that we had booked - a kettle and two coffee mugs do not a kitchenette make!!

A very nice hotel indeed. Quite luxurious for us. We had paid for a large bed so this located us on the 6th floor with a large balcony view towards the Old Town. We arrived well before check in as we came straight from the port to drop our bags and were lucky enough to be given a room (as it was a Monday and not as busy). The room was large with plenty of light (and excellent blackout curtains for midsummer), room controlled aircon, a large bed with crisp white linen, cupboard, tea & coffee making facilities, large bathroom with good shower and toiletries. Good wifi. Basically everything you need for a nice stay and good night’s sleep. Breakfast was included and it was a wonderful hot and cold buffet. Everything you could ask for. There was also a sauna and whirlpool available to use but we didn’t have time. This hotel is located on the edge of the city, just outside the ring road around the old town. It’s in a neighbourhood full of embassies and plush apartments and is in fact a few doors along from the US embassy. We walked from the port to familiarise ourselves and it took about 30 minutes on flat ground (but if you have luggage, the cobblestones are brutal). To get back to the port, we walked a few hundred metres to the ring road and caught the #6 tram. We chose this hotel as frankly, the ones inside the walls of the old town sounded old, dodgy and not very restful. We’re so glad we did. Worth every cent!

Room Tip: Not in the Old Town but close by. Very quiet neighbourhood. #6 tram is closes to hotel & port.

I stayed in the hotel for over a week in early 2023, on business. On the positive side, the hotel is clean and the rooms are of a normal size. The main positive of this hotel is that it is located on a quiet residential street, within 15 minutes' walk from the Old Town and other main attractions. On the weaker side, the decor of the rooms may not be to your taste, if you are not a fan of 60s retro with earth colours (I am not). Furthermore, while breakfast is served, there is no restaurant or room service, which can be inconvenient if you come back hungry from a long day out and don't feel like going out to eat. The personnel were professional and attentive, but the front desk area was often deserted, with personal flitting back and forther between the front desk and the bar area at times. Given that the hotel door was open, this could create security issues, with little control of people going in and out. The bar was a bit sad in the evenings with not much choice or atmosphere and often clueless service e.g. no knowledge of wine, and only very few wines on offer much of the time, no nibbles, etc.. I understand Estonia is more beer-drinking, but the hotel claims to cater to internationals, so it should up its game in this department. About breakfast: I am not sure it deserves the rave reviews it has received. Some of the items on offer were not very impressive e.g. the orange juice (undrinkable), floppy bacon and little choice of cereals, nuts, muesli, etc. No omelettes or such, as far as I could tell. Still, a pretty wide choice of breakfast items - better than many places I have seen. IN summary, the hotel is a solid enough choice, if not exceptional. For long stays, you might want a higher level of comfort, a restaurant, and a decent bar.

The hotel is in a good location but they do not replace the glasses with new ones while cleaning the room. they wash and leave in the room and it is not clean. After washing the glasses, they dry them with the cloth next to them and then use the same cloth in other places.

Two travellers with two beds, 2 nights. Would stay again. Pros: lots of choices at breakfast, quiet street, free use of pleasant spa, short walk to buses/trams and a bit further to old city. Cons: none, just not right in old city if that’s important to you, and not much in the immediate few blocks (which makes it quiet!). Sidebar: room had cozy little window nooks for reading, and the gym was simple but did the trick with a few cardio machines, free weights, a bench, and a cable station.

Very compfy beds, room size was OK, proper hair dryer provided. Had a balcony,so if u can request for the 6th floor. Complimentary spa treatment in sauna steam room and jacuzzi! Cons room is so hot even though I turned off the heat, try sleeping with the window vertically open to get some air during the night. Although breakfast was super good huge variety best rye bread ever the coffee is bad, would recommend changing the bean brand or something. Would definitely stay there again
