Super easy self check-in, self check-out, no frills, clean, modern. If you are 1 or 2 persons and you don’t need any extra space (what for?) this is exactly what you get: exactly one standard shipping container. Delicious breakfast and friendly staff.
Nice to visit, near Fotografiska and Telliskivi Creative Center. Visually interesting. Easy to go walking or by tram. Very small rooms. But I had to send many emails in order to get back from breakfast for 2, which I had paid before, the receptionist didn't believe it. It took 5 emails to get it back. Otherwise 3,5-4/5. Also some confusion of the codes to get in.
Really interesting hotel in a cool neighbourhood called Telliskivi. This is full of interesting bars and shops centred around an old railway / train factory so there are a fair few old trains and trams scattered around as well as some excellent cafes and shops and the rooftop bar of the Fotografiska museum nearby is ace The hotel itself is in an old brink building with lots of shipping containers. There is a double bed, table and en suite shower. Plenty of room for 1 or 2 people and larger than you might expect but not the same size as a suite in a mainstream hotel. However the character and helpfulness of the staff there more than makes up for this. Great coffee in the mornings and nice chill out areas. The Balti Jam market 2 minutes walk away is also worth a shout out for vintage clothes, shops and cafes Tallinn old town is about a 10-15 minute walk past the train station or easy to use a Bolt eScooter to zoom around town. …
Cool & contemporary space in Tallinn. Just near the train station and popular Telliskivi area. Bars, restaurants and local designer shops are within very short walking distance away. Bed was comfy. Shower room and bathroom great. Drinking water from the tap! No kettle or fridge in the room but there really was no need for either as most shops are open until 22:00. Air con was a major plus! Will be my go to place next time I need a place to stay in Tallinn. If you’re the person who likes to enjoy the view from your hotel room- this is not the place for you. But views you’ll find fro. Fotografiska in less than 5 min walk away for example. But for anyone looking for a unique experience and clean comfy room in the heart of Tallinn- this is the place for you!
very retro, everything one needs in a neat and compact way. Stay was wonderful, close to most attractions and staff very helpful. Nice kitchen that can also be used as well as the lounge. VERY quiet, so we had good nights' rests. Also nice that your place stayed private and not staff coming in and making your bed and shuffling belongings around. VERY Clean if you are looking for that.
Nice design, good idea. However, almost no staff available, everything is done online. The rooms are not cleaned, the beds not made (didn’t say anywhere), no way to open a window. As a one time experience good, but no need to repeat.
Wow What a hotel, Telliskivi area. Cosy room, there is all What you need to stay. Room can be a bit cool, airconditioning, so take your pyjama wth you. Lovely staff and large ”livingroom” area where to stay. Easy to get around everywhere in Tallinn.
Unique concept and wonderful experience! We are so glad we tried the Hektor container hotel. The room was compact but had everything we needed and was efficiently designed. We had an issue with our air conditioner the first night, but the hotel staff was wonderful about taking care of the issue and reassigned us to another room. The location by the market and the train station and within close walking distance of the city was terrific. Thank you for a memorable stay!
Great basic ho(s)tel. Love the decorè! Nice and clean place. The check-in is super handy, also the check-out. But be warned: you get the check-out email at 12pm! So if you click it straight away, the staff gets notification that you have already checked out (the first option is 1am). Sleep first, check-out later when sober. No air conditioning but the containers are inside a huge warehouse, so there’s no direct sunlight. Oh, the bed is so huge, it definitely possible to sleep in the same bed without knowing there’s another person.
I came here looking for a place to stay for a month and loved the lobby area and got special attention and help from Aule, so kind and helpful. I really recommend this place for short and long stays! It has a Rimi supermarket right in front and the lovely area full of local shops, restaurants, coffee shops and much more!
