A great brand new 4-star hotel in the centre of Tallinn, 5-10 min's walk from the Old Town, celebrating the centennial anniversary of Estonia's freedom and independence and its integration into Europe. The interior is Nordic minimalist and Estonia's centennial anniversary is reflected in the artistic design of the hotel featuring the main periods in the history of Estonia over the last 100 years.

It is a great hotel, 15 minutes walk from the center. The staff is kind, the rooms are clean. Everything looks quite new and modern. The breakfast is nice too, can choose healthier options, like veggies, fruits, mushroom, salads too. The heatings works well, there was a safe in the room although couldnt use, since it had no power.

We had requested an early check in from 1pm which we were told wasn't a problem but when we arrived the receptionist said that the room wasn't ready, however, she kindly fixed that for us so we could check in straight away. TV unfortunately wouldn't cast so we were unable to watch any of our own movies or shows from our devices which on the info in the room said we could. To be fair the reception did look into this for us but nothing could be done which was annoying. Our room was also close to a regularly used corridor door so unfortunately we had a lot of noise throughout our stay. The pillows were really comfy and would be good for someone who enjoys a high pillow but for me I prefer a flatter pillow. Beds were very comfy and the room was clean. Breakfast was included and was exceptional. Really great food, very tasty and lots on offer. Cons - No minifridge for cool storage, uncomfortable pillows to sleep on, noisy door outside of room, unable to use TV Pros - really reasonable price, helpful staff, breakfast was delicious

Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for taking the time to provide detailed feedback about your stay at Centennial Hotel Tallinn. We appreciate both your positive comments and your insights on areas where we can improve. We apologize for the inconvenience with the early check-in and the TV casting issue. It's unfortunate that these aspects affected your experience, and we appreciate your understanding as our team worked to address them. Also, we are glad to hear that you found the pillows comfortable and enjoyed the overall cleanliness of the room. It's also great to know that you had a positive experience with our staff and enjoyed the delicious breakfast offerings. Your feedback regarding the noise from the corridor door, the lack of a minifridge, and the preference for flatter pillows is valuable, and we will take these into consideration for future improvements. We appreciate your balanced review, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for an improved stay in the future. If there's anything specific you would like to discuss or if you have further suggestions, please feel free to share. With Kindest Regards, Centennial Hotel Tallinn Management Team

Rooms are nice - big and clean but that’s about it for this hotel. Location is a bit off. Lots of walking to get anywhere. Took the taxi (cheap in Tallinn which is good). Breakfast was not good, not many choices and they kept running out of stuff. The hotel building in general feels like a school or at best a conference hotel. They make a lot of fuss about spa services which it turns out they don’t have; they are in another hotel down the street. On top this the hotel was really expensive which might have been because of the season and maybe because we were there for the Weeknd concert - think this pushed the prices up. But anyway, around 250 eur per night was far from worth it. Next time I’d rather pay a bit more and stay at one of the really good hotels inside the city walls instead. I have seen at other times you can find more affordable rooms ar Centennial and I guess if you wouldn’t pay more than a 100 euro/night it would be ok. I still wouldn’t stay here though.

Well located close to downstairs, connected with any kind of service (busses, bike and cars sharing, etc.). Rooms are clean and comfy, silent and well equipped for coffee corner and bathroom. A fine breakfast more salty than sweet but it’s enough tasty. Staff is kind and the structure it’s high tech. Anytime you need something it’s available a contact free chat. If you’d like to order a delivery you’ll have many options by the apps and they will bring your food on the floor.

Room booked wasn’t provided. My booking was for a junior suite but we were given a deluxe room and no efforts were made to resolve situation for us for 3 nights that we stayed. Room cooling wasn’t working and toilet underfloor heating was on full blast so we couldn’t sleep well the first night…. Breakfast staff doesn’t care and seemed like working to a stop watch as removed food for at 10am without giving any notice to guests… 0955 I requested for a pancake but was denied!! Wanted an omelette another day and was denied as chef wasn’t available at breakfast!!!

Responded 19 Aug 2023
Hello thanks for your review. I am sorry but this is not factual. We do not have “Junior Suites” in the hotel, I have no idea where you got this information but the room you booked was a Zen Deluxe and is exactly the same as you received and according to the photographs on your confirmation. The bathroom floor heating can be adjusted by guests in the room and also turned off. Apologies about the breakfast, the breakfast closes at 10.00 , we have a full buffet breakfast, if you have any special requests we will endeavour to make these for you. I am investigating this as we have no knowledge of any requests on that morning at 9.55am

Excellent room and breakfast and close to the old city. But no facilities. Comfortable hotel but boring. Not even a bench outside for people to get fresh air or to smoke. People stand or sit on the stairs Also the air conditioning did not work properly.

The location is close to the Kristine mall. But nothing else like cafes or drink bars or shops next to the corner, only one pizzeria. Room was big and clean. Bath very small, only for 1 person. The restaurant is only for breakfast, we were told to Wolt for food or eat peanuts from the room. So, 4 Star hotel with no bar or restaurant. How is that possible?! Also the SPA not located here. It’s inside the sister hotel. So you have to walk outside to get there.

This is a very modern, very clean, very accommodating hotel. As we were tourists, we were in the hotel very little and mostly needed a comfortable bed and good bathroom. Our shower was delightful, and the breakfasts were quite good…tasty, filling, and just right to energize us for full days of walking around the old town and city. The only thing we missed was a workout facility, but then we WERE walking many miles each day, so we definitely were getting exercise!

Having returned to Tallinn from Helsinki our second stay in the city was at the Centennial Hotel Tallinn. A modern complex situated in the Southwest quadrant. The hotel is smart and functional, a sort of jack of all trades in that everything is done well with nothing any objective person could complain about. Our 4th floor room was very smart, clean and comfortable. The high ceiling added to the feeling of space. A 3-inch deep wall unit housed a wide-screen TV that was fashionable and clever. Laminated flooring and a contemporary bathroom, with a rain head shower that Shaquille O'Neal could use, added to the appeal. Definitely a Tall-inn. The old city is in easy reach of the hotel. Aleksander Nevsky Katedraal (Alexander Nevsky Cathedral), Toompea Loss and Pika Hermann Torn (Tall Hermann Tower) are only a short walk away. Also nearby is Town Hall Square and Saint Nicholas' Church & Museum. A modern clean and comfortable hotel in an great location.
