Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Good stuff: Clean, well located, quiet, good breakfast, sauna in a room. Not so good stuff: There were several power outages, the reception was already closed, they could not care less. "Just wait and see", it might take an hour or an day, they said. There were no flashlights in a hotel! (Should be, it it also a security thing.) They did not even ask how the time in the dark went. : ( It was impossible to sleep on the sofa bed - pieces with wheels did not stay in place.

We stayed here on a group tour with Exodus for two nights. The staff are lovely, really friendly. Breakfast great and the best coffee I had on our trip. The rooms are basic but comfortable. The bathrooms have powerful showers. I would have given it a higher rating but unfortunately it has no air conditioning in the rooms which made our sleep uncomfortable and at times unbearable as the rooms have huge windows with thin curtains and they retain the heat. As soon as we were out of the shower we were already sweating. Not a hotel for me in warm weather.

We had our couple vacation in Rakvere. The hotel seemed to be very well located. And it really was. We had wonderful room with sauna. But: no bathrobes, no refrigerator, not enough plugs. This hotel unfortunately is not suitable for people with disabilties. The quality of TV picture was not ok and most of the channels were in russian. No new shampoo after used the previous one. And there was wierd smell in the coridor. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ok. Should i want to go there again? Still probalby yes. As the room was nice and big. We had still good time there.

Very nice quiet hotel with friendly staff, clean rooms, perfectly located close to the very centre. Tasty breakfast and comfortable spacious rooms. The only problem was poor WI-FI connection. Otherwise fine. Will recommend to stay, really value for money.

Renovated, clean, stylish rooms, good bed, nice breakfast, cheap, quiet. There are many reasons to recommend this hotel. We liked our short stay. The only downside to some people might be that there is no elevator to the second floor.

Close to city center so you can walk around and see a museum or go across the street to a nice English pub. Rooms were nice and clean. Very good service and very fast WiFi. Good breakfast and lovely restaurant.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We were allocated rooms in an annex which were very dated and in need of refurbishment. Very depressing to come back to after a day out. However the room was clean. Bathroom was not good - again very dated. The main hotel may be better but don't stay in the annex ! Breakfast was adequate . Porridge good. Wouldn't stay here again !

I was booked a room through my company for a flat rate. When I arrived to the hotel, the room was less than accommodating for my needs. The staff at the front desk were willing to work with me and move me to a more accommodating room without a hassle. I would stay here again.

Hotel was ok. Only minus was the bed. Breakfest was good. We were in mid summer, so the hotel pub was closed and it was hard to find open restaurang in the evening. The price was reasonable. Parking spots are behind the hotel. Service was good on reception.
