Hotel is nice and clean. Neighborhood is quiet and hotel is about 1000m from city center and 600m from concert area. Liked staying there. Also eated dinner there. Recommended. Some pics from our dinner. Beef burger, duck filet and chocolate fondant.
We stayed two nights with family and had three different rooms, which all were very nice and comfortable. One of the rooms had air conditioning (which wasn't needed but looks like some of the rooms have it, which is great during the summer). The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained. All rooms and public spaces were very clean. Beds were comfortable and we all slept very well. Breakfast was nice and coffee was very good, also. The location is nice and quiet, in a beautiful, green area. Free parking. We had dinner at the hotel and the food was absolutely great, cocktails were nice and service was superb. Special thanks to the amazing staff that were able to accommodate us on the 2nd night even though they were sold out. Even in general, the staff were amazingly kind, friendly and very professional. Highly recommended!…
Although a pretty place tucked away in a foresty location, with excellent breakfast service and spacious rooms, if you don’t like flying bugs in your room that don’t even get vacuumed the next day after you’ve killed them, then look for a hotel that has screens on their windows. We stayed here in the summertime and the room got stuffy/warm with no air conditioning. So we opened the windows the first night and have been killing mostly moths ever since. Don’t leave your suitcase open on the floor, unless you want to find bugs lurking in it, too. Can’t call down to the front desk for any service because there’s no phone in the room. Also watch your step when you walk around because you might trip over a doorway’s threshold or a white marble fireplace’s 4 cm high front slab! Before going up to the room for our 4th night, I had to ask the front desk clerk to request Housekeeping to give us fresh sheets the next day. And yes, the moths I killed the first night are still on the floor under the window drapes.…
We have spent only one night at this place and surely in the off season period (late October) but still had a very nice experience. It is a bit out of the town and I believe it is a plus if you'd like to enjoy nature and calm in a 5 min drive from the center. As it was a very late evening and the weather was not at its best, we took a taxi to get to the hotel and back to the restaurant (taxi station is right near the main bus station). However, in the morning it was a pleasant stroll to the town. Staff was welcoming, room - spacious and comfortable. A bit old-fashioned but in a charming chalet way. Clean and warm, nice bathroom. Perfect stay.
We have stayed here earlier so we knew what to expect. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is good. It is located about 1,5 km from the center but the roads to there are nice to walk, at the day time. In the evening one could feel a bit uncomfortable walk in the completeley dark roads. We arrived back to there before 10 in the evening. The staff was about to leave and they adviced us not to use the front door but the side one. If we had arrived a moment later we would not have known where to go in to the building. Later in the night a terrible noise started in some room. A drunken couple was fighting and of course the TV was watched with loud volume. I tried to call the reception/administrator 8 times during the night. Nobody answered or called back to me. Finally I decided to go to the reception but was shocked when I realised that the doors to the public area were locked! I also noticed that the side door was widely open, so who ever can come to sneak the building. I was thinking that what should a guest do in the case of fire, burglery water leak etc? The only option is to be directly in touch to local authorities Police etc. cause it is obvious that the "hotel" will not take care of you. To be honest I have hardly ever felt so unsafe in any hotel/motel eventhough I have spent hundreds of nights in many different countries ín all kinds of places!…
Very quiet, clean, and fun to be out in the woods. Feels refreshing and the staff is very nice. Great breakfast and breakfast room makes you feel like nobality. Very quaint and antique like furniture. Just fin
Villa Theresa is a gem of a boutique hotel in Rakvere,Estonia. It is located at the edge of town next to the forest and has the freshest air in Europe. It is family owned with spacious rooms, lots of natural light and an excellent restaurant with reasonably priced wine. I have stayed here 3 times in the past 5 years and really like the place.
The stay was pleasant, even though my room smelt like hospital food... The "best" was the view I had from my room of the graveyard at the back of the hotel. The worst experience, anyway, I had it the day of the check out. F9r some personal reason I had to stay one night more at that hotel so I thought it would be enough to just step in after my duties and book a new room. Surprisingly the hotel was empty as if the staff had to run away suddenly... and it was 20.00 in the evening. Incredible.
Very good hotel. Room clean, spacious, comfortable. Only minus: a bit cold, perhaps heating was already turned off. Higlhly recommended if you travel with a dog, nice park & walking paths from the front door. Very much value for the money.
I visited this hotel with my partner and 3,5 months old baby. Very nice place to stay. Clean, beautiful and lovely rooms. Very good breakfast. Friendly stuff. Nice, quiet area and beautiful outdoors..
