Rooms are very small, walls are super thin, but the location is perfect and it’s clean. Breakfast- very simple but ok. Staff is very kind. Many restaurants are nearby and old town streets are just right next to hotel.
Vanha, mutta siisti. Yllättävän hyvät sängyt. Vedenpaine heikko ja veden lämpötila vaihteli. Wi-Fi toimi välillä heikosti. Aamupala oli riittävä. Respassa ystävällinen palvelu. Sopii parin yön nukkumapaikaksi. Old but clean. Beds were suprisingly comfortable. Wi-Fi didn't work at all times. Waterpressure and water temperature chanced. Breakfast was good enough. Reception workers friendly. Suits for couple nights visit.
Very basic and over priced. The room was basic, quite small. The room wax equipped with tv and fan. We had problems with water pressure and no hot water at morning. Lot of noise from street. No elevator, ask ground floor room if you have difficulties at stairs. WiFi didn't work at the room. Parking was free (and small, places for max 10 cars), we have to park to street side (watch for free). Buffet style breakfast, ok quality. A few steps from city center and 10 to 15min to the beach. Medicore service. Next time visitng Pärnu we will choose another place to stay.
If you don't expect too much, this hotel is ok. Normal room prices are very very overpriced. I paid about 40,-/night and even it felt overpriced. It's a very old building and some fixings where made by chewing gum in our bathroom....not cool...So more an hostel with unique? atmosphere. It's a shame because with some (and more some) renovation this villa would be perfect! Cleaning was ok,but could be better Shower and bathroom is almost an joke, but we managed. Beds where good. Location is perfect and staff friendly.
The hostel is well situated but this is the only plus...the single room was very small and the price was extremely high and not normal indeed. I took it only because I be arrived in middle of night and had no other choice. The price of such room should be maximum 30 Euro but the charge much much higher. I would not go there again.
Koidulapark Hotel is a great place for accommodation when the high season is over. Then they have fair prices. We stayed at this hotel in the middle of the summer and paid 83 euros for a night (for comparision, Hotel Helga in central Helsinki, a four star hotel, charges 80 euros during the same season). The room was like a punker. Could not take a shower, because the water stopped running properly at some stage. And that little water that did run flew in the room because the bathroom was located half a floor higher than the bedroom! No air conditioner, instead there was a fan on top of the cupboard which could not be left on for the night as it was loud and blew straight at us. The bedsheets had holes in them and the curtains were about to fall down. The breakfast was OK. Also: during the summer season you better be careful about your bills - we was charged for five coffees instead of two. We did get the money back after confronting the staff though.…
Small very uncomfortable beds. Lots of noise on the downstairs floor with people passing to reception. Room was dirty and we found a half drunk bottle of juice on the floor from previous guests.Curtain pole was hanging off the wall and the room smelled very badly from the toilet
PLUS: Location was great! The hotel is practically in the center of town, next to a beautiful park. The rooms were small and simple, but clean. Friendly service, free parking in the backyard of the hotel. MINUS: Breakfast was concise, would have hoped for more. No airconditioning, if cold weather this is fine, but at summer heat would be stuffy and too hot. WIFI available only in foyer, didn't work inside the rooms. Our bed was way too springy and quite small for two people.
Hotel is cosy and small and suits for people who seek authentical atmosphere and are looking for peaceful walks in the city and enjoying the beach or cheap dinners in the central city area. The hotel itself does not have anything special to offer, very simple rooms, no ventilation, wi-fi does not work in the rooms. The problem with many Estonian old buildings is that in summertime the sewers tend to sink. Prices in high season in Pärnu are relatively high, so 85 euros for a small room is a standard price: there are cheaper hostels and more expensive hotels. In my opinion hotel is more ** stars, absolutely not ***. But a friendly place and fulfilled my excpectations since been in the city relatively many times. If you're looking for international standards for rooms etc. don't come, if authenticity, it's a good choise. Free parking place is a big +…
A couples rooms not large enough to open one suitcase, stuffy , no aircon, rooms have an odour of sewage, wifi available in foyer only. Not worth staying here when there are so many amazing establishments for the same price or less. Do yourself a favour and bypass this place.
