Place has nice and clean rooms. Located in old town in Pärnu. Pärnu old town is not big. My room was situated like that so in window I could see a bar. And in that bar was party all night. I even call police, but it didnt end. Even eardrops didnt help.
Myself and two friends have been staying here on Erasmus for two weeks. Last Friday night we were all asleep in one room , and were woken at 2:30 am by a loud noise of someone trying to get in to our bedroom. He pushed the door handle relentlessly and banged and shoved on the door trying to get in. We were terrified and shouted at him to go away but he didn’t stop and made no noise or spoke at all. He continues to fiddle with the lock and push on the door. We were so scared. He finally stopped . We were awake for ages. Finally fell asleep, then again at 4am it all began again. This time worse and with more force on the door and walls around the door . It continued for another 5 or 10 minutes. We were so frightened we called the police. They came and we threw a key out the window to them. When they approached our door they said We are here to join the party ... We were all shaken and terrified and they didn’t do anything to help us feel safe. They left and we stayed awake until morning and told receptionist when she arrived at 9am. She didn’t look at the cctv which was directly outside our room and didn’t do anything. Later we were told the man in Question was staying next door to us and he will be there all weekend until the Monday. So we had to leave the hostel and check into another hotel room until the Monday when he had left . Appalling customer service and complete lack of care for a room of women who had been terrified and subjected intimidation and harassment by another guest in the middle of the night. Women, do not stay here .…
Me and two female friends stayed here we had booked for 3 weeks. one night a man checked in beside us and decided to try break into our room twice in the one night. First at 2.30 and 4am we ended up calling the police and they came but the man had gone by the time he came and we did not know until the following morning it was the guy next door to us. We spoke to staff the following day and they had no remorse and done nothing about it. The man had booked for another 2 nights so we had leave and book in another place for the two nights when we returned they still had not acted on anything. I have never experienced such bad customer service and would not recommend this place to anyone else. Especially females as males are more important.
i always stay there,,it is cosy and clean..the staff is helpful especially Helena.the location is very central among the restaurants and pubs.the internet is strong. one important thing is that you feel safe
The location is extremely great, only few minutes from bus station and other tourist attractions. However, the beach is in the walkable area. There are a big super market and mall located across the main street (opposite the bus station).
Four of us stayed at the Hommiku Hostel in early March. The twin rooms were great. Warm & clean with a small but functional kitchen area. The reception was only open from 09.00 til 18.00 so make sure you book. There is room for parking two, possibly 3 cars on site in a courtyard. The breakfast is taken in The Georg Café downstairs. This was a bit ordinary but OK, served from 07.30 weekdays, later on weekends. Single rooms are 27 Euro's, doubles 38, triples 51 & quadruples are 68. There are plenty of restaurants close to the hostel. We ate in the Edelweiss Restaurant & in the Ephesus over the road. Both were very good.
Great option if you are in Parnu. Located in the center surrounded by restaurants, small shops and pubs. It provides a small parking if you are travelling by car. Friendly staff and good facilities. The room included kitchen/fridge in case you want to eat in there. Worst thing: ridiculous bed size.
Stayed in a double room, very clean and quiet, with toilette and kitchenette in. Just in the center, and close to stores, restaurants, museums and beach. The reception Works from 8h00 to 20h00, with nice staff.
Located in the heart of the city, still quite peaceful accommodation. Staying here more than 10 times I'd say the only problem could be just with keys: there are no 24h service and if you arrive late, you just have to make a deal how to get them. Or choose another place.
We were 4 people and we had a huge room. Bedroom with double bed and Flatscreen tv. In kitchen small table, fridge, stove and oven and couch that opened and became doublebed. Shower and toilet of course. If I had any complain, it would be that kitchen dining table was a bit too small for 4 people, but that is very minor thing. Extra points for the staff. They let us stay one more night even if we hadn't booked it in advance.
