Villa Andropoff is a monumental soviet era village meant for USSR board of ministry vacation. The inside of the main building is impressive and i am really happy, that they have preserved the look and feel of the right era. With that said, everything actually looks a bit neglected. The main building, nevertheless in the right era, feels forgotten, most of the lights were out, and even though it's high season, there was absolutely no one in the building... like no one, even the reception was empty. It was like in a horror movie. Outside looked also a bit neglected, crumbling red brick walls with lots of cracks, moss everywhere, squeaky doors etc. We stayed in a two person room, in one of the six rowhouses. Outside of the houses actually looks ok, but the inside lacks any basic modernism and equipment. No water kettle, no bathroom supplies (shower gel), outdoor balcony was a shared one (very unpleasant, no basic privacy), very humid inside, furniture was 20+ years old, blankets had holes in them, outdoor furniture was broken, bag with next door trash stayed on the balcony for both of the days. Next door neighbors were smokers, it was almost impossible to keep the balcony door open, to reduce humidity. Now, not everything is bad. The location is great, the place is situated exactly at the beach, it's easily accessible, lovely pine forest, free parking. The place has so much potential, but it seems, that owners are trying just to cash in and leave everything as it was 25 years with no remodeling... sad.…
Visited with spouse and two children. The staff wasn't very nice or helpful, except the lady at the breakfast. The rooms were in this cottage style place where there are few apartment in the same building. Not very clean, bathroom very moist and water smelled awfull! The smell spread in to the bedroom area after showering. Bedlining wasn't very good, very basic and my bedsheet was too short. Thin walls, you could here everything from the rooms next to yours. Rooms were very basic, no tv, no (even small) fridge, no waterboiler or coffee machine. You couldn't storage food or make any. No air conditioning. During summertime very light room, no curtains that would keep the light out. Eventhough, still a place where you can sleep and shower, not the wprst place I have been! If you don't need anything more than a bed and (smelly) shower and aren't too picky about thing, this is ok place to stay! Good things were the location! Just by the lovely beach which was so great to swim! Suits for children also because the water wasn't deep. Pine trees all around the area and must be suitable for walks also. Quick drive to central of Pärnu. Breakfast was basic but good, got everything we wanted.…
We stayed two nights at main building. The best thing about the apartment was the spaciousness. There was a lot of space for four. The hotel's grandiose architecture and location by the sea piqued our interest. However, the hotel has seen its best days, and there is clearly no investment in maintenance. When we entered the apartment, the parquet floors were still wet from cleaning. The furniture was old-fashioned, cheap and partly worn. There were too few dishes. No teacups, no yogurt cups. The drains did not drain properly. The trash can was full from the previous guest. No recycling bins. Wi-fi was down during of our stay although we pointed it out. Thick walls didn't allow to use the roaming properly. Restaurant was in private use at the night we arrived but there was no information about it in advance. Music from the restaurant and from neighborhood was little bit disturbing. The corridors were dark because half of the lamps were broken. With good investment and ambition, this could be an attractive beach hotel.…
We stayed in the 2 person room (rowhouse). The room was full of spiders and air moisture was very high. Cleanliness was poor. A lot of noise from other departments disturbed out sleeping. The breakfast in the main building was ok.
464 / 5000 Tõlke tulemused We planned to spend a few days in this beach hotel, as a reminder of old times. Without prior notice, thinking that every guest is welcome during a pandemic .... But after parking the car in front of the hotel and wanting to explore the beach before entering, we were, to put it mildly, thrown out of the hotel territory. Some grumpy woman said it was a private property, we are not allowed to be here and we must leave immediately. Our advice - stay away from this hotel!
We just turned off the highway and booked a room for the night. Great site, direct at the sea. Our room was in the forest, just behind the main building. A bit basic, biggest minus the poor insulation with the neighbouring room. Breakfast was great, diner in the restaurant as well.
I was celebrating my birthday in the restaurant. The food and service were excellent! Compliments to the chef! The place is absolutely beautiful and the sea view was stunning. I strongly recommend to visit this place :) !
This place is beautiful, these houses are news, i like it. I remembered about 6-8 years ago. It was a lot of pyramid house site, I think what happened in 2009 , high winds and tornadoes. Not like a big old like an empty parking place
We had been several times with large group in this hotel. Our group size have been 40-100 each timen during the years. Our accomodation have been at aparment side. It is true that it could be in better shape, but when you compare prices and this outstanding hotel area, seaside, history of this area, it is almost luxury (need a little bit color :). Our group have been very happy and satisfied for service and food. Apartment are very hot, specially if you are sleeping in upstairs. All arrangements for the have been great. This is the place very you must go if you are intrested: near history, the beach, good food, most personal place the stay. I have been enjoyed a lot.
Hotel is situated in the middle of forest, some 15-20 km from Parnu. Ambient is typical for Northern Baltic- pines, sand, dunes and sea. I was here for 1-day conference ar main building, and for conference - it was o'k. I do not like strange remarks of soviet time.
