Great place. Spacious rooms and hotel is nicely renovated. The building is quite big, so it took some time to understand where everything is. I liked the spa and treatments. Spa, saunas hottub etc were spacious. Breakfast had great mutiple food options

Our experience was somewhat ruined by the restaurant. Pärnu Restaurant Week, we booked a table for 9 (including 3 kids) for 19 PM. It is reasonable to believe that during this special week, many restaurants are fully booked for prime times. This could not have come as a surprise to management. When we arrived, a table for 7 waited instead with the server telling us that they don't have larger tables. We asked for 2 extra chairs for the kids, problem solved. The Restaurant Week dinners have a set menu (with optional wine pairing). 4 of the 6 adults in our group ordered some sparkling wine, which was served promptly. The kids were served their drinks, but the remaining adults had to wait over an hour (!!!) for the wine pairing to arrive, because it took them over an hour to serve the starter... not acceptable for a pre-booked set menu. Main course arrived faster, but the amount of wine poured was ridiculous (7-8cl instead of 12cl). We were running out of time and requested to take the desserts "to go". During the whole evening the attitude of the servant was questionable and slightly rude? Did not find hand sanitizer anywhere nearby. Not enough (almost none!) hand sanitizers in this building complex?

The rooms are very basic: only beds and a tiny shower room. Bathroom is so small that brushing teeth is a challenge. Room temperature was too high. I tried setting it, opened the window but still too high. No spa slippers provided, you have to bring your own or buy them from the shop (which is not open in the weekends or evenings) Bathrobe is included. Wonderful to walk thru the corridor to the water center with all the saunas and pools. And to the massage etc without having to step outside to the wind and rain. Backyard is to the hotel is a great park. To the left is the beach and parks, to the right is a great running 2bridges running route that follows the river

Rude spa receptionist treated us like potential criminals who would not pay for their check. All in all it was probably a misunderstanding but in general i left with a bad feeling even though i enyoyed my stay in Pärnu. In general the spa was boring.

We were in Parnu just for one night and chose Tervis for it's proximity to the beach and spa. The place is huge and it literally took us 5 mins to walk from our room to reception. This is the diametric opposite to a cute boutique hotel so don't come here if that's what you're looking for. We however loved the imposing style (for one night at least) and it almost felt like stepping back in time to how people would relax in the Soviet era. The beach is 10 mins walk away through a park. The highlight for me came when I investigated the medical spa facilities and tried the mud treatment! It's an experience and well priced. My skin felt great afterwards but the curative properties of the mud are said to help all sorts of health ailments. Would highly recommend giving it a go if curious!
