Such a beautiful and cozy place 😍 the owner is so friendly and kind and food is amazing!very tasty vegan food and breakfast was tasty and there was lots of it.rooms are simple but so cute.brick wall and straw roof.nice terrace if you want to enjoy cold drink outside
Hotel looks cozy and charming when you look at it but is in some way artificial. This comes to you later when you stayin. They seem to be pretending buddhist shrine in the middle of Northern Europe and it never works You feel embarassed when they ask to take off your shoes and use slippers in the normal B&B. Rooms are tidy but under equipped with no single table and hangers in the bathroom. Later on you realise the restaurant (breakfast) is vegetarian. Nothing wrong with that if you have a chance to know before you have paid your booking. And finally the breakfast. Being vegetarian does not mean you are mingy normally. Here it goes together unfortunately. Although you are paying normal rate for Estonia simple room with breakfast you are getting coffee porridge bruschetta. All other items like omelette or egg you need to pay extra Avoid if you are not in „transcendental” mood😃…
Great and cozy atmosphere with friendly service. Such a warm welcome by the team and owner. Amazing coffee and karask and cakes. Excellent experience and honestly, really reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
..is located in the centre of Haapsalu. The rooms are quite spacious and nice. There are a few downsides tho. Massive dust rolls and under the bed and the thatched ceiling which is a great home for dust (impossible to clean thoroughly), many cobwebs and therefore spiders. As an allergic person it was hard to sleep there even after cleaning up all the webs and some of the dust. Would suggest a deep clean every once in a while. Also would recommend having more than 1 coat hanger in a double room. Other than that the bathroom was nice and clean, looked fresh. Bonus points for having Madara shampoo & conditioner for guests to use. The room was nicely refurbished and food at the cafe was delicious.
Upsides: Price. Gorgeous location, nice building. We were in the outhouse. Room was fine, clean, good bed. Good shower. Café was good when open. Downsides: Some loose wires poking out of the wall!? No hook for towels anywhere in bathroom. We were told we could have breakfast at the café but in the morning the café was unexpectedly closed with just a post it note on the door. The courtyard has piles of scrap furniture. It all feels a bit unfinished. Also don't visit Haapsalu on a Monday or Tuesday. The whole town seems closed until Wednesday.
We stayed one night. It is a 20 minute walk from the bus station (walking at a leisurely pace). Very easy to find and straight road from station. From the outside it is very colourful. We had a garden room but the main rooms are on the second floor of the house, the ground floor doubles up as a shop and a cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Cafe open 9-6pm. We did not eat here but the food looked and smelt lovely. The garden room was quaint with twin beds and also had seating in the garden, alongside the cafe. Checkout at 12pm and advised to leave the key in the door rather than hand back in to reception. It is well located and a five minute walk from the castle and restaurants and right next to the tourist information. It was quiet during our visit although very close to the castle where a blues show is being held on the weekend so likely this will be audible. It has a large private bathroom. The negatives and these are few are no ac or fan in the room and during the evening and in particular night it was very hot and stuffy. We had the window open but this did not do much to cool the place down. No fridge in room, this would have been nice to keep our drinks in to keep cool in the hot weather. No storage/hooks in the bathroom to hang clothing when showering. This was solved by taking chair from room into bathroom. The waterfront and town had quite a few insects etc and also noticed in the garden area. Would recommend bringing some bug spray/insect repellent as I got bitten twice during the night. This is not a major issue and whilst bite is itchy for a day or two it will disappear. No tv but you don't come on holiday to watch tv. Wi-Fi in the room which was a nice bonus. Overall this is a nice place and I would recommend staying. We only stayed a night but if staying several during the warm weather likely to be a little unbearable during the evening/night.…
We visited as a family and we absolutely loved the place. Greate memories! Warm, cozy and interesting interior. Really friendly owners and staff, tasty food. The pillows were too high and uncomfortable but that was the only downside.
Beguta guest house is a nice little place in a very good location. Simple, but stylish in a bohemian kind of way. My room was clean, comfortable and cosy, and really good value for the price (35 euros per night). You can have breakfast for an extra charge in a nice cafe downstairs - perfect if you like an omelette, porridge and/or smoothie, made specially for you. Some funny, a little bit strange details, though - 1) you can't go upstairs with your shoes on, 2) you have to wait for at least 5 minutes before the water in the shower turns warm (there is a sign requesting for patience at the bathroom door). But for this price, these details only made me smile.
This guesthouse offers very comfortable rooms for good price. We were able to do emergency booking late evening. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is a very nice shop downstairs with hemp cosmetics you can buy as great souvenirs ;)
The guest house is located within few minutes from (tiny) central square and (huge) castle; the town center is small but very nice and so is the place. The rooms are simple but clean and cosy. The (veg, accoring to information given) cafe downstairs serves good breakfasts (and non-veg people can too eat a good thing there).
