We stayed 2 nights in a family room, that was surprisingly spacious with two separate bedrooms and located close to kids play room. Spa is perfect, it works both with small kids, but also for adults looking for some relaxing time. The location is very good close to centrum and beach promenade. Service was very friendly (not typical in Estonia!) and the breakfast buffet was also good enough.
Family friendly place. Staff is very nice and helpful. Good spa area, many saunas and pools for every taste, I really liked salt and mud rituals. Rooms quite small for family but didn’t spend much time there. Feeling good and relaxed after our holiday there.
The spa area itself is very nice and worth of 5/5. I knew when booking that probably the hotel part is not so perfect after reading the reviews and seeing the price which was a bit cheaper than other Estonian spa hotels. I wasn’t wrong. I carefully tried to pick a renovated room (small economy) - so yes, it was renovated but the bedding quality was low and also there was some problem with ventilation, so it was a bit hard to sleep. The breakfast menu was really dull and nothing too much to eat, especially for a vegetarian. They even didn’t have a toaster. The worst thing was that the restaurant failed us, although we had booked a table for the evening. There were several people who had the same case and reservations were just cancelled. Fortunately we got to go to Pizza Grande which was kind of the only restaurant open in town on Monday evening.…
We don't recommend this hotel to anyone! Room with no aircondition in a very hot summer, no minibar / fridge. Service from personnel were hardly existing, and room were not cleaned during our two nights stay. The breakfast-buffet had one of the smallest selection I have experienced.
Has a beautiful view of the lake and is a short walk away from the city center and beach promenade. Our room was very basic and outdated. Clean (except for an army of small dead insects on the window sill). Power socket in the bathroom was situated much too high (near the ceiling). Buffee breakfast offered quite good choices. Unfortunately the same can't be said of the tiny watercenter at the spa. The one redeeming feature of the watercenter except for being freshly renovated is a sauna with a nice view of the lake.
Definitely underrated hotel - all there is... Pros - centrally ,on coast location ,free parking, renovated rooms with very comfortable , beds .Good flatscreen TV ,incl. HD channels. Impressive breakfast choice (its just 3 star hotel - more than 30 positions ,8 juices etc.) Sauna/pool included in price. Cons - Soviet period facades. Advisable hotel.
The hotel, situated by the promenade, is located close to the historical city centre. Even though the surroundings are lovely, especially when the weather is good, the hotel itself is not very charming from the outside. The inside is slightly better, but you do get the feeling it's an old Soviet style building. The staff is friendly and helpful. The part of the family that visited the spa was very satisfied. The breakfast buffet was decent, but not the most exciting. The only exception was the wide range of pickled herrings, if you are in to that. Personally I am, but not at seven o'clock in the morning. The rooms were rather small but decent and clean. However the bed was really uncomfortable, all too soft.
Not recommended!!!! It is a mix between a hospital, an old school sports camp and an elderly home. Rooms were small, old, bed was poor and pillows were terrible. But for 55€/night what could you expect? Breakfast was eatable and industrial. If you are above 75 y.o. and you are feeling lonely during winter season, this might be more depressing than staying at home. No experience about the “therapy” services.
I have trouble with my back and my estonian family suggested I try this Spa. i got a very rerasonably 10 day deal with 3 "treatments" per day; full board & nice room overlookong the sea.It was very good value, although the boufet meals got a bit booring. The massage (daily) and other treatments have mad a differance and I am more flexible and more mobile
Staid there for 5 nights during the winter, which is low season. Room was modern and well decorated, although very tiny. There was almost no space around the queen-size bed. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. There was no bath but specious shower. Bath ropes are provided, and room-cleaning is every day with the change of towels. The breakfast is super with very large variety of cold and hot dishes, salads, juices etc. At the evenings there are sometimes live shows (bands, dances etc) in the main restaurant. The also provide half- and full board buffet,t but didn’t enjoyed the food there. But the main restaurant also offers a´la carte and dishes were big and delicious. Staff is very friendly, especially in the restaurant. The SPA is rather tiny, but cozy, although the air there is rather chilly and the water in the big pool was definitely below 25 degrees (although they say it is 28 degrees).…
