This is a beautiful, comfortable hotel that is less than a stone's throw away from the gates of dawn and you can walk a straight line to the castle grounds in fifteen minutes, so a perfect location for sightseeing. The breakfast is large and varied. The only downside we had was the heater in our room didn't work but it... More

This was another great pick. Located just steps from the Gates of Dawn, it is in an perfect location. Many attractions, restaurants, shops and cafes are with in one mile (1.5 km) right down the street. It is hard to get lost!! The hotel is elegant and well aged, and beautifully maintained. My room was comfortable and accommodating. Desk, double... More

Big and nice rooms. Nice with floor warmth and hot tub in the bathroom. Nice balconies and really good breakfast. Negatives: thin walls (I could hear the neighboring guest snore during the night) and really cold temperature in the rooms.

The hotel is located in the center of Vilnius, perfect for a walk in the old town. We stayed for 4 nights and I loved the atmosphere of the hotel. The room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious. The rooftop view is breathtaking. Perfect!

We had a very pleasant stay on our long weekend trip to Vilnius. Hotel was lovely, full of charm and character; staff were very helpful, breakfast was also great. We had an excellent view of the Gate of Dawn. Taxi service arranged by the hotel was also good - our flight was late by 1 hour, but the driver picked... More

AT first we were surprised because finding our room was confusing. Thankfully the staff helped bringing our heavy luggage to the room. The hotel is divided into two buildings and to get to our room we needed to go up stairs and then down stairs. But the good news is that the room was large and very spacious and quiet.... More

Stayed here for 3 nights on a family trip. 4th floor had perfect sunset views and up the road to the gates of dawn. Breakfast had a wide range. Lifts were a little scary and frustrating to use. Bathroom fan was out of order. But excellent for location and price!!!

Minus points : breakfast quality could be improved Some rooms (luckily a few) are small and dismal Plus ponts : Excellent location, reasonable price. Very helpful staff. Both Mr. Titas at the reception and Miss Dovile of the administration assisted us efficiently in solving an unexpected problem. They both deserve a promotion !

This was our first time to visit Lithuania as a family and we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel organised airport transfers for us that were prompt and polite. The hotel is in the Old Town are of the capital which is where a lot of the fine restaurants and sites are within walking distance. We were greated by friendly and... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Experience the 16th Century Spirit where Elegance and Tradition Reside The four star Europa Royale Vilnius Hotel is presented in the very heart of Vilnius Old Town evoking the air of Timelessness with XVI Century Cultural Heritage. An atmosphere where elegance and tradition still reside creating a Haven of Calm away from the busy streets of Vilnius. The peaceful and historic composition lies in the splendor of a 19th Century Mansion next to the incumbent monasteries and ancient city fortifications. The eminent old City Gates (Gates of Dawn) are one of the only structures left from the historic city walls. The other side of the hotel presents the beautiful architectural landscapes of the National Philharmonija Chamber along with the well preserved City Hall dating back to the Medieval times. ... more   less
