Our host meet us outside old town and took us to his place inside old town. What a fantastic place. We got room number 1 which was very big with a view over the old center. Michael - the host - was so nice and helpful. The apartment is well equipped and clean.

Das Appartmenthaus liegt sehr zentral direkt am Marienplatz und innerhalb der Fußgängerzone. Es gibt einen eigenen Parkplatz direkt hinter dem Haus. Unser Appartment war sehr geräumig und einfach aber originell eingerichtet. Es standen zwei Einzel- und ein Doppelbett zur Verfügung. Bad war ebenfalls groß und sauber. Wir haben uns das Frühstück dazu genommen, war eine sehr gute Entscheidung auch wenn der Frühstücksraum ein Raum ohne Fenster ist. Die Betreuung durch den Vermieter war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

I booked this apartment hotel room during my business trip because my previous one (booked during my last visit) was full. Apartments Rakoczi is in absolute city center, on Marianske square, next to better known and slightly more expensive (at time of my visit) Hotel Grand. To find the parking place of Apartments Rakoczi in the night is quite difficult and I have to ask locals, because signage was quite poor. Staff is very helpfull, I´ve had app nr.1 on the first floor which has 4 beds. Appartment was very big with small kitchenette, seating combination and 4 sepparate beds. Appartment has stunning view on the Marianske square. Bath its big and looked brand new with toillet included. Appartment furniture/equipment is a combination of all possible styles and cheap furniture that you can imagine. Magazines for visitors were from 2011, and TV set (big one - no flat LCD) with stereocasette/cd recorder was lost from 80´s :) Kitchenette was also an old one, like removed from some another building, it was impossible to put the cable of electric kettle to socket. Small fridge was off during my visit, and there was completly empty. Pictures on the walls were also a combination from everything. Bar in the lower floor was perfect and is fully renovated with access direct from the square. Breakfast was superb, when I´ve mentioned that I like on breakfast musli, bread with jam, milk, honey, joghurt and some seeds, staff brough everything from all mentioned :) Owners should invest more in authentic equipment/furniture, to preserve genius loci of this place, as from historical point of view its worth an investition I will recommend to hire some architect to make it professionaly and with clear/unite vision.
