Very good location close to centre. There was beautifull view from room on castle. During night it is little bit busy street in front of pension because of central location. Street parking iis for fee during the day. night is for free. Staff was indiferent and breakfast was strange - one day it was menu breakfast, you could choose from 11 choices. Other day it was very poor buffet breakfast. Room needs more care and repairs - bathroom needs reconstructon. Next time I will stay in other place.

Didn't expect much and didn't get either. Very very basic conditions. Clean but not much. Far from the city center and not much to do around. Doesn't look much from the outside either. Better try something different.

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel, everything was fine, the location is excellent, from the window of the room (second floor) you can see the castle, a splendid view. From the hotel you have to go 100 meters to the Main Square of the city. The staff is also very very kind. The room is bright and full of sun. Nice!

The location was unbeatable. We parked the car upon arrival and then didn't need it again until we left the city. There are cafés, restaurants, and the main sights in the city, including the incredible castle no more than 15 minutes away on foot. We thought the hotel staff (who also double as the wait staff for the café attached to the hotel) were great. They were helpful and friendly and responded right away to our one problem upon arrival. The rooms were nice. We had two rooms, each would fit 4 people. One was on the top floor, and it was huge. It had space for the beds and then a more open space that had a table and then a couch and the TV. Really great room. It had a skylight that you could see the castle through, which was kind of fun. In both rooms, things were clean and everything worked. Wi-Fi was good enough to stream a basketball game. We enjoyed breakfast. It had a good selection of the usual stuff in European hotels as well as a couple eggs or things you could order. It was included in our booking. It's too bad you have to use the street parking, where you pay by the hour. The hotel is a bit of a maze with lots of staircases. Our family of 7 had to do quite a bit of work to get suitcases, bags, etc., up and down the many flights of stairs.

Perfect place where to spend time after walking through the city. Home made cakes, limo, very good coffee and receptionist who is smiling all the time. Rooms were clean and staff beyond helpful. Certainly it was not my last visit. (I´ve never met more helpful, optimist and nicest person than their receptionist :-)

We stayed here for one night to break our journey upto Poprad. the staff were very friendly and informative not only about Trencin but also about the other parts of the country we were planning to visit. Our room was spacious and clean with facilities to make a hot drink. Breakfast was eggs to order as well as a small buffet selection. Would recommend.

Based on my experience with the accommodation that we were provided here, there are only two bonuses of this place - proximity of the castle and nice breakfast /however for 4 eur you expect it to be good/. Tea, coffee and a hot water kettle is in the room - a pity is that you have no plug to put it in near the table. Receptionist/waiter 2in1 was nice, helping with suitcase /upon arival/ as the room was far from reception, with many steep steps without elevator. Pictures on web page of pension Panorama are really nice, unfortunately the room we got was completely different. Located in back old part of pension panorama /with old board saying Pension Artur/, it was outdated. Viewing to noisy road, train track and a football stadium, plus disco music the whole night. We were shocked because in the big room there was only one lamp - on the ceiling, providing poor light. Other lamp on the wall had no bulb and bed /night/ lamps were missing. After a claim we got one table lamp. Old bathroom with a broken bathroom cabinet, again a poor light and one small mirror only. Impossible to do your make up there. Stinky toilet. In the shower there was a lot of dust and hair - like they did not clean it for ages. Shower hose was rusty and a shower as such was disgusting, I did not dare to use it. Tiles falling down from the wall, on a part of one wall tiles missing. No place to hang your clothes, no hangers, wooden wardrobe has only small shelves and drawers. No parking available. Public places close to building were occupied. When I complained directly to the owner that they have pictures and services different from reality we faced, he said he was sorry. . However he still charged us for this awful place as if it was "de-luxe" room as they call it and we paid 54 eur per one night for two. Far too much for what they provide. Therefore I call our stay here a bad joke or a big mistake. I have visited many places, this one was probably the worst of them. As I learned later, you can choose the nice room with a castle view which is in the same price as this old nasty room. If I knew it before, I would never made this mistake which completely ruined my pleasure from Trencin visit...

Stayed for one night in this lovely place. Room good sized and nicely decorated. Nice surroundings, everything clean and well maintained, reception and bar looked great. Really nice breakfast but the best thing about the visit was the young man that served us! So friendly and helpful, made our Stay a real delight!
