Detailed Reviews
We spent three nights here to enjoy the area and the Christmas market. The hotel is lovely; the room was large and very clean, and the staff was helpful; we were able to leave our luggage and have lunch and come back when the room was ready.
The bar in the modern attractive lobby made for a nice evening visit. We also enjoyed the pool one afternoon.
The location on the pedestrian area gave us the perfect location to visit the Christmas market and activities, as well as coffee shop and restaurants. This is a stately and elegant hotel.

Beautiful modern hotel in a traditional building.
Fabulous breakfast buffet and great restaurant. Excellent service. Rooms modern and spacious.
If the rooms would have a coffee machine and water kettle and if the restaurant would have decent napkins instead of paper I would give it 5 stars.

This hotel is gorgeous with its Roman plate and archeology exhibits in the reception, but still up to date with services, a beautiful wellness centre with massages and an excellent restaurant (a bit pricey, but that is to be expected).
The downside is parking. There is parking for the hotel guests for 15€/ night and it is a bit of a walk eith your luggage from the parking lot to the hotel.
We stayed with our one year-old and she enjoyed her stay very much as well.

High quality hotel, well maintained and clean, in a great location for exploring Trencin.
Rooms spacious with good (and necessary in summer) air conditioning.
Reception staff were very helpful before we arrived (allocation neighbouring rooms) and whilst there (helping us find a laundrette open on weekends)

Our room was stunning. Plenty of space, and a super breakfast. Parking is very limited so know that you might be in a lot a bit farther away. We didn't do the spa, but others were raving about it. Very comfortable and would stay again. Only weird thing was the hotel bars wasn't open on Jan. 1 (it's a holiday in Slovakia but one would think a full service hotel would've stayed open for a full slate of guests. Odd, but we survived.)

We wish you all the best and hopefully during your next stay in our hotel, you try our spa too. Kindest regards Jana Pavlíková

Very nice and centrally located hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Upon arrival there was a minor issue with the billing, but the person behind the reception managed to sort it out for us..
Nice big rooms, very clean, comfortable beds, and a decent gym.
The price was quite high for what you get, especially as our room did not include breakfast.
Unfortunately due to time constraints we did not get the chance to explore more of what the hotel had to offer, so cannot comment on the Spa, breakfast or other aspect of the hotel.
The location however, was great. Very central in Trencin, with restaurants, bars and sights within easy walking distance.
Would stay again if I was in the area, and the prices improved.. :-D

It is lovely, spectacular, historic but well-maintained hotel near to the city center of Trencin. Along with the historic atmposphere we enjoyed all the modern services such as spa, air condition, restaurant. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of food. I truly appreciated that the choice changed a bit every day.
Yes, the parking is not right under the hotel, but not far either, 12 euros/day with hotel discount.
For me the only downside was air co. It worked well, but somehow the cool air was directed towards the beds and I immediately felt like catching cold-and I still cannot get cured... But it is only me, other members of family had no problem with it...I truly recommend this hotel and also Trencin for those who like local atmosphere with not much tourism.

Booking Referral through Expedia. Everything went normally with them.
On arrival at the hotel, however, we were informed that we should pay 40€ each time we want to use the hotel's own savings area for two. There was no mention of it in the booking documents. For other costs, such as parking (15€), this was clearly evident from the Booking Referral.
This has not happened to me with well over 100 stays in hotels with pool/spa.
Definitely not a Recommendation.
