Scarlet is in the city centre and the rooms are pretty spacious and some of them have a vew at the castle. Breakfast was served to us and they also provided us Slivovica (local 51% alcohol drink) due to the fact that we did visit a wedding. A nice and peaceful place to sleep and really at a a good location.

Cosy and nice private owned hotel. It is cheap but clean. Rooms under the roof have good view. Breakfast is scarce but enough to start the day. The hotel is in the center and close to mountain. Ladys at the reception are good English speakers and knows a little Russian. Good choice if you are travelling with family.

This unpromising looking pension was one of our best stays in Eastern Europe. It is located down a laneway, and the name hardly inspires. But this is a very clean B & B with tasteful furnishings that give the rooms a homely feel. The rooms are long and narrow and each has a great view of Trencin castle towering overhead. Maria Holecova is a charming host. The laneway leads to the central pedestrian zone and is locked at night giving great security.

Clean and modest envoirment. Poor breakfast. In any case can be a disperat solution in Trancin. for one night ok. Staff in the evering and at the breakfast with bad forigne language skils. Personally I'll not repet.

My family was there for a week. They enjoyed the most. The place is literally next to the centre and you can walk to all trencin from there. Clean rooms (those rooms had wondoww to the castle) the breakfast was rich and fresh even though just my family was at the place during that week. Amazing experience for them.

This is a small family-run pension in the city centre, nearby all restaurants, monuments and ca. 10 minutes from the Hrad. We were really suprised by the atmosphere we could feel there. The breakfast was delicious and the staff very polite and friendly. Also the room looked like a real appartament. Great place to stay.
