Glad to make this choice, whilst visiting Poprad. Accommodation is in a quiet residential area. Staff was super supportive, always there to listen and accommodate. Breakfast was well varied, fresh and tasty. I really like the cozy décor and fireplace near the bar. Loved the room, bathroom, warm water anytime of day or night ;-) and of course the sauna. Penzion Alzbetky (also written Alzbetka) is situated on a street entering the ancient part of Poprad, a 5 minute walk from its center. The place a beautifully decorated with vintage/retro furniture and art elements - both rooms and the public areas. The suite received included one room devided to a "bedroom" and a seating space (with a sofa, small table and a tv) and a bathroom which has a bath but not any installation to hang the faucet for taking a shower. As the place is bordering the the street, some noise may enter. A bigger problem arosed since the room window was facing an outer space used by smokers (what limited the ability to open it and much affected our privacy). Breakfast was very reach and fulfilled our needs. To sum up the pros are much more than the cons.

If you stay in Poprad or nearby, it is a great place to stay. The service and staff is giving their heaths for clients. It wasn't my first visit and the level was exactly as I expected from my previous visits.

We stayed at this Slovak penzion 2 nights while touring the mountation area around. The room was clean comfortable but without AC.WI FI functioned well.Breakfast buffet was tasty and no one will leave hungry.Parking is across street.There is no elevator so those in the up floor must know about this fact.

Located in Spisska Sobota, a small town, within Poprad municipality is this small motel which offers great hospitality and cost accommodation. Clean rooms equipped with CTV, comfortable bed and bathroom equipped with adequate amenities. Breakfast starts from 8-10am adequate to start the day.... no 5 star spread but with the reasonable room rates cannot ask for more.

I was here with a friend for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff there were really lovely and friendly, and each morning we had an excellent breakfast that included hams, cheeses, scrambled eggs, sausages and breads, and more! So a great way to start each day. The breakfast room also doubles as a cafe bar and I wish I had the chance to go there in the evening, but I was at AquaCity! Our room was a nice size with wooden floors but some of the other rooms are huge so well worth the extra. Free Wifi is provided too, which will save on roaming charges. Amazing value and I would definitely return.

We stayed here for 3 days. Room was clean and big enaugh. We had a bathtub in the bathroom. Staff very friendly. Pension is near the center of city. Breakfast good for the pension. They dont have car park so we parked about 300m from the pension.

Had superb breakfast. Very nice deluxe room. Spacious , very clean, and great informative staff. We would definitely come here again. Had no problems with language and we only knew about 4 or so words. !!! Thanks to Thomas

We stayed there for 4 nights. Excellent location for city trips. Rooms are clean and spacious, only bathroom is claustrophobic, but has its own ambience. New furniture. WiFi works almost OK - with many, many short breaks. Staff is very nice and straightforward - greetings to Tomasz :). Our roon has no balcony (I suppose no one has), but a little "cafe" - 2 tables + chairs in front of penzion - was even better. Please note that street Pod branou (especially penzion's part) is one way street, so if you miss car park place you have to hit a little around trip.

Nice historical surroundings, comfortable, very nice looking hotel - all is in one style. Nice big bed, nice bathroom, very calm street. The staff was very nice and helpful. Good parking options. Really nothing to be worried about, if you travel to Poprad, choose this one!
