The hotel is part of the Aquacity resort, that is why we selected it for short break. The price was deep into 4 star category, so our expectations were high. Unfortunately they were not met. The rooms are reasonably big and nicely furnished, but everything shows signs of age or rather cheap build and even worse maintenance. There are some patches on the walls that are laughably badly done. Seems like every single piece of furniture is chipped. Weird stains on tiles. I could go on. All of this would be ok, but the biggest disappointment is the catering. We booked half board and while the breakfast was ok, the dinners were mediocre at best. One could tell, this is where the money is not spent. Cheap ingredients, relatively small selection, most of the time I had trouble picking what to eat. One example: there was always a dessert for dinner, but in a form of simple "sponge" cake. All in all, our stay was okay, but I will not be coming back.…
Stayed with our family group , this is our 3rd vist here. Very disappointed with level of service. €100 extra for an extra bed ,this wasn't informed on booking. Food has gone downhill , nearly same food for our 3 days, last vists food alot better quality and variety. Restaurant service slow unprofessional, well its was served by students , clean the cobwebs in the restaurant. If your local your looked after it seems , tourist no effort made in giving you information on pools or even what to do , no welcome. Rooms very nice clean comfortable. Tried to speak to someone on check-out..... didn't even ask how our stay was. Lucky we had a voucher 50% discount,as I wouldn't pay €600 for the service and quality received, and even the €400 plus that I did pay was way too much. Note to management/owners if you English merebleia up ensure ur staff can interact in English and also it great if they could smile. Its doesn't hurt or cost to smile and say hi.…
So much to do, great facilities...love the 50 m pool and wellness centre. Great for a large group as something for everyone. The rooms are excellent, very clean and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Plenty to do in the surrounding area and don’t miss an ice hockey match at the stadium opposite. Seen several changes in 10 years, it gets better and better.
We stayed here while exploring the Slovak Paradise National Park. The location is great, the rooms are spacious and clean. Free entrance were offered to the aquapark which was great after whole day hiking. Rooms are clean, staff is nice. Food could be better. I still give 5 stars because of the price value ratio!
This was a ski holiday with wellness. On arrival our room was prepared only for 2, despite booked (and prepaid) for 3. Luckily this was quickly corrected. Layout: Parking is at the far right of the hotel (at the cryo treatment), the entrance is at the other end (behind the black London cab) on the 3rd floor, your room is again behind the cryo treatment building. Plenty of walk with luggage, not speaking of ski equipment. Catering: ohwell, I think the problem is that this hotel shares the restaurant with the 3* Seasons hotel, so breakfast and dinner is just on the better end of 3*, nothing fancy. No 4* dress code enforced at dinner. The usual buffet-menu dinner rule applies, be there at 6:00 otherwise you miss the one or two delicacies. Saturday seems to be day off of cooks and waiters, the small selection was quickly gone, took a while to get drinks. Our room was very much up to 4* standards, nice materials, spotless clean on arrival. The room size, including the bathroom is okay. A little tear and wear, here and there. The double bed is huge, more like a king size. Tho, be prepared for a hard bed. OTOH the rollaway bed is so soft it would swallow an adult. Be prepared for a very hot room, temperature is uncontrollable unless you open the window. Too bad that the weather was cloudy, so no mountain view for us. There seems to be no ski room, tho the hotel has a skibus to Tatranská Lomnica. The hotel has a kids room, catering from little ones to older ones incl. an xbox. Who is not satisfied by that head down to Aquacity, which has a huge kids room. For wellness and pools see reviews of Aquacity Poprad, full use was included in the room price from checkin to checkout. The hotel is in the very same building, you get a bathrobe. The entrance is just behind the reception. All in all and despite small annoyances we would return.…
