A central hotel, located next to a central bus station and a very active and noisy railway station. The hotel is simply decorated and old, the rooms are standard without a coffee set, the bathroom is very small, the shower cubicle is very narrow and the toilet is swinging. Breakfast is not something, when we asked for another breadcrumbs we were told it was over for today. A coffee machine only has espresso and chocolate. Since there was no coffee set in the room, we asked for a jar of hot water and made coffee that we brought from home. Free parking, next to the hotel there are 2 large supermarkets
Room - The hotel and room itself is fairly dated and no frills but basic amenities are there. Good if you only need a bed and towel for a stay. Location- location was good and very near to the train station (5 mins walk) and bus station (3 mins walk). Also near to a large supermarket (3 mins walk). If you need to get to the city centre it's approx 15 mins walk. Others- receptionist that we met on different shifts were very friendly and helpful.
This hotel needs a refurbishment. Toiletries are only provided once you step in this hotel. Plastic cups are not sealed. Good breakfast with lot of choices is served at 7am onwards. Polite receptionist.
... or you get what you pay for! Hotel it's old fashion but very cheap. I was there 1 night and I found it ok for the classic excursion of the elderly. Breakfast is poor and not according to the usual European standards. I stopped there due to business conveniency. I wouldn't go there again.
As soon we opened the door on arrival there was a strong smell of smoking. We wanted to switch rooms but the receptionist answer was that we should open the window (it didn’t help). They give you only one key for the room which is a problem when you stay there with a friend. What was really annoying was the sun entering deep into the room very early in the morning. There is a building being constructed over the road so this was our view and it also didnt help sleeping well. Had very little slleep the whole week we stayed ther and came back home exhausted. One evening when we came back, people staying at the same floor told as that the door room was widely open the whole day and all our luggage and belongings could be seen by whoever passed there. The other guests very kindly went to the reception and the guys there closed the door which was left open by the hotel personal after cleaning the room. They never explained this. We asked for a blanket to put on the window but they said they didn’t have one and gave us only more transparent bed sheets that didn’t help. We covered the window with clothes. The man at the reception was rude but the woman was nice. The people working at the breakfast room were very nice and willing to help. The breakfast was ok…
