I had a single room on the ninth (top) floor. The room was adequate but the two old lifts had no indication that they had arrived at my floor and at busy time there was a long wait.
Breakfast buffet was an abysmal affair. The yoghurts were the most tasteless I have ever experienced as were the juices on offer. The coffee was from a machine offering six variations all of which were appalling.
The reception staff with one exception were obviously annoyed at being asked to actually do something. The printing off as requested of my final bill caused much huffing and puffing. I would not have employed any of them.
All in all this hotel is a poor example, and certainly not four star.
The room was a death trap, plug sockets hanging off the walls, one with bare wires sticking out next to the kids bed. tables with broken legs, equipment very old and partially working, see-through curtains, thread bare carpets, only 2 lamps (one not working) and no ceiling lights, and incredibly squeaky bed; resulting in me sleeping on the floor.
Wellness - dilapidated, rusty radiators and windows, freezing cold air and water, sauna was only 60'c and the Jacuzzi has been broken since October (3 months) and inadequate lighting. not someone where you would want to relax and definitely not with children (i have had warmer beach holidays in the UK)
Food - not as the pictures show - food was the equivalent to a cheap lunch menu worth a maximum of 4 euros with very little choice. breakfast very limited.
Upgraded room on the second night was slightly better (at least it was not trying to kill us) was still unloved with moldy bathroom and damaged equipment.
wifi only available in the reception, inadequate lighting in the whole hotel, website pictures either very old or of the one renovated room.
once again, no matter how good the offer is don't stay here, just look at the pictures in case you think i am exaggerating.
