Hotel ponúkal veľmi dobrý a bohatý sezónny animačný program pre deti do 12 rokov so skúsenými animátormi nazvaný Planet Fun. Vrátim sa späť k slovenskej verzii All inclusive. Nechápem prečo to volajú All inclusive, keď je to vlastne len plná penzia plus 2 snacky (doobeda a poobede). Celkovo by som dovolenku v hoteli Park odporučil. Hotel Park is very well situated, it looks good at first glance, although the exterior is a bit outdated, but its interior is gradually being renovated. The inside of the hotel is nice and the parts I saw were well furnished. In accordance with the travel agency, it is the only hotel in Piešťany offering All inclusive services, ... let‘s say its Slovak version. The travel agency and the hotel itself are presented as a 4-star, but you can also find it as a 3-star on the website, so choose what you prefer... Piešťany is a beautiful spa town, especially during summer time and offers many opportunities for holiday and relax. The hotel offered a very good and rich seasonal animation program for children up to 12 called Planet Fun, with experienced animators. Parking at the hotel was problem-free, but we had a parking place reserved in advance. The reception/front desk and check-in were smooth, there was attentive and kind staff, although the children firstly received only bracelets for half board, but they exchanged them at the reception right after the second "misunderstanding" in the dining room, when the waiter asked us what meals we actually paid when he was justifiably "confused" by various bracelets. The food itself is at a very good level in the form of buffet tables with a very decent selection and very tasty. I will go back to the Slovak version of All inclusive. I don't understand why they call it All inclusive, when it's actually just full board plus. The minibar in the room is fully paid, as well as all the drinks in the new nice Sky Bar and drinks offered in the wellness and pool area. I don't understand why it's so hard to include everything into the price and be really an All inclusive hotel. This should not be a matter for a 7-day "All inclusive" stay with your own transport for 1,982 EUR. Slovakia is terribly expensive and services are far from reaching the level of e.g. Turkey, although prices are higher in Slovakia!!! And we said to ourselves, as Slovaks, that we would support Slovak tourism and the economy because of the coronavirus. As for the room, we were told that we were accommodated in one of the best rooms in the newest and luxury part of the hotel. Only access to this luxury area is limited, as there is only one old elevator for 3 people, which you should not use with your luggage. The apartment itself was at first site very nice and luxuriously furnished. At the second glance, I found mold in the joints in the shower, by the fan in the bathroom and also behind the couch in the "living room". The internet cable was routed to the room in a disproportionately large hole by the window and I also found few other such "tweaks" a la Albania. As for the internet and wifi, we were in apartment 52 and the signal was almost zero and kept falling out. The bathroom door creaked like a 700 years old castle gate, and the handle was almost fully stucked, which didn't improve even after my second visit of the front desk. The cleanlines in the room was good for the fact that it looked like an acute lack of hotel staff for maintenance and cleaning. The pool was very nice with an outdoor terrace, but the impression was a little spoiled by the almost constant absence of staff at it. There was only one person running with towels, turning on the limited hot tub and cleaning the pool area of water, as it was extremely slippery in its immediate vicinity. On the other hand, other positives were that the towels by the pool were free, as well as the sunbeds, and there was also a swimsuit sipper by the pool. Overall, I would recommend a holiday or stay at the Park Hotel. But I would also strongly recommend the hotel management to take better care of the hotel and the hotel staff themselves as well as improve the services for such a price.…
This is a nice hotel in a quiet location next to a park. I visited the hotel with my son and granddaughter. The hotel is child friendly with a large playroom inside and a trampoline and some childrens' playthings outside. The breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold food. We had the buffet dinner one evening which was good value. The rooms are spacious and the beds were comfortable. It is about a 15 minute walk to the centre of the town.
In Slovakia , you have to understand the culture and attitudes , which are very different to good service in other countries . Standards of service are generally lower than other countries. Having accepted that , you will enjoy the friendly people ( limited English for those over 45 years old ) and many other things like castles, unique Slovakian food and some reasonable wines . This hotel is old style , probably built in the 60s but renovated, it says 4 star but I would rank it a low 3 star. Having said that it was clean and staff tried their best , but English is not spoken except at reception, in bar and some in restaurant . Rooms are reasonable with a balcony and a nice view of the river .Location is edge of a park, quiet area, no traffic, lots of birds and trees. Hotel has a mineral spa pool and wellness treatments like massages. Food is buffet ,breakfast , lunch and dinner . Breakfast is included in rate and quite a good selection of fruit, salads, cereals, breads, hot eggs , bacon ,frankfurters and cold cuts/cheese. Good coffee and fruit teas. English people should bring Liptons or Tetleys English breakfast tea, they only offer Earl Grey. Lunch buffet is Euro 8- , 2 soups, a fish, a meat (usually pork) potaoes or fries, veg, salad bar and 2 deserts -pretty good selection for price but quality is not that high. Dinner buffet is Euro 12- and has same but more main courses and fruit. All excellent value . Room has a fridge , but no mini bar , we popped down to Lidl and filled it with wine and fruit . No tea and coffee or kettle in standard room , apparently they have them in Lux room. You need a GPS to find hotel , it looks easy but due to walking streets ,it is more difficult than you think. We used maps.me with Slovakia preloaded onto a tablet , works well . From hotel , only 15 minutes to walk along the river to the Irma Spa…
Booked 4 nights here for a sporting event. We got to our rooms and called our booking agent to see if we could cancel we were so disappointed. The balcony felt unsafe, room was tiny, basic but not like the pictures on booking.com. Very very run down basic accommodation. We got a taxi to take us to another hotel and for roughly the same price we are staying in a much much much nicer hotel. Avoid this hotel if you can, the pictures on booking sites are completely misleading.
The Hotel is located in a quiet area by the River and park. Its located by a path which leads to the town and a bridge which leads across to Spa Island. The Hotel has some nice features, including the Pool and Wellness Centre. Its so clean and hygiene seems to be high on the priority list. The Room we had a balcony with a garden view and was large. The Bathroom and shower was little outdated, and a little too much dark wood. The double bed was two singles pushed together with two duvets. there was a fridge but it was empty maybe because of the time of year. The air conditioning was 6 euros a night extra, it was in the 30s temp wise, but we were able to open the patio door with nets to stop any flying menaces. The breakfast was varied and had most things to suit all tastes. The staff in the restaurant are always available. You cant fault breakfast not for 58 pounds for 2 people. My only criticism is the Reception Staff, a little frosty maybe because we could not speak Slovakian, but it is an international Hotel, so there is no excuse for a pretty austere reception. A little smile wouldn't go a miss.…
