the bed broke easily I could not sleep bath tub was broken and no hot water I told the receptionist she did not help at all do not visit this cheap hotel for your sanity and there is more best hotels there are many of them visit them instead of this
I stayed here in December on a visit to see my family in Nitra and I regretted booking a room because I didn’t see the pictures until my I had completed my booking, I just thought to myself I might as well stay here as I’ve already payed. I arrived and this is the moment when I thought I had truly entered hell but I thought wrong as I was just skeptical on the looks of the reception desk, after they gave me my key I got into the lift and guess what happened next, I had gotten stuck in the lift for 30 minutes. The hotel didn’t know how to deal with a situation like this so they had to call the firefighters to get me out. So then I took the stairs all the way to the 4th floor because I didn’t want to risk getting stuck in that small tin can again, I arrived at my room and it was completely different to the pictures I saw online. Although I would admit the bathroom wasn’t the cleanest but at least it had hot water and a toilet, I found it strange to be having breakfast in the basement but the theme of the restaurant was actually modern. But the dinner was also in the basement, which didn’t matter as the dinner was amazing. I wasn’t happy with being stuck in a lift and I wasn’t exactly amused at the reception desk, apart from all that, I rate Hotel Zobor 3 stars.…
I was curious about this hotel considering it was newly renovated and it's a serious improvement. Luckily to some reviews, they have seriously improved. And this YouTuber is bringing it more attraction. Still a W.I.P, but decent for the price.
+ petfriendly + very helpful, multilingual staff + spaciuos car parking free of charge + near river side and city center + rooms towards yard are quite quiet - quite expensive the rate for dogs: if you have several dogs this additional fee easily might extend room rate - using elevator to upper levels and from reception to exit/ground floor you have to call each time reception and wait for unlocking - breakfast room was rather more a cantine for offices located in same building: no athmosphere at all - water supply war very poor, at least in 4th. floor - old furniture - during 3 days stay no towels were changed nor any cleaning in the room - no international TV channels available
Better then the last time I stayed here. I guess they renovated and the staff was very nice. The receptionist was amazing and the room was very good and clean. If you need a quick and pretty cheap hotel, I would recommend this one.
