Few kilometres from Michalovce. Easy to find. On the bank of the slammer lake. Hotel with spa area. Comfortable rooms - a little bit oldfashioned but clean. Good wifi. Very nice restaurant with local slovakian food. In the surrounding nice place for a walk around the lake. Nice staff. Minus - no complimentary water- in that type of hotel it should be a standard thing.

Had lunch here with my girlfriend and her family. Traditional Slovakian food and beer. Very nice indeed but the portions a little small for me. I had veal cheeks, but ended up ordering an additional starter!! Reasonable price for the quality of food. Lovely views of the lake and mountains. 😍

We stayed at the hotel from Saturday to Tuesday whilst visiting my friends family. At check in we were handed a token to swap for pool towels and the remote control for the AC. The pool towel token and remote have to be handed back on check out or you receive a fine. My single room was quite a good size and had a desk, arm chair, tv, safe, wardrobe with hangers, full length mirror and an en-suite. The bathroom with shower was also a good size for one person. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant on Saturday eve. We had chicken ceaser salad & chips with a beer! For dessert we thought we had ordered a chocolate & strawberry sundae but when it arrived it was hot chocolate with strawberries in it! Tasted ok but really wanted ice cream in the 35 degree heat 😂. The food was good. **Word of warning** - we literally got bitten alive from mosquitos whilst eating on the restaurant balcony. Make sure you take repellant and bite ease cream. The hotel has an indoor pool with loungers and a life guard. Outdoor swimming is in the lake. There is an outdoor kiddy pool and shower. On the sun terrace were white plastic loungers and umbrellas. Both days all the loungers were taken from very early in the morning and draped with towels although, annoyingly we didn’t see anyone use some of the reserved loungers ALL DAY! The beech bar was a great place to sit in the shade and enjoy a grapefruit beer or raspberry lemonade. Next door to the hotel is a pizza bar with good pizza and cold drinks. The reception was always manned and all staff we encountered there spoke some English which was a bonus as we spoke no Slovak. The only little down side to the visit was the poor quality of my towel on the first day (see photos) when the towels were changed for day 2 there were fine. All in all at €45.00 per night for a single room it was a great stay and I would have no hesitation going back again. Recommended.

I did not stay at the hotel, just spent my time on the hotel private beach for almost 2 weeks. All I want to say is that this place is the best place to spend summer vacation if you happen to be nearby. Amenities, clean area, good service, quiet place, restaurant, indoor pool and the lake! The hotel should be 4 stars!. Jan and Marko - hotel lifeguards , thank you for your everyday help, You made my stay soooo enjoyable!
