A rapid visit to Martin. Very central location. The staff was very kindly. The room clean and silent. Parking behind the hotel on closed area. We enjoined our stay. The breakfast was good, still a bit limited and in a Slovakian vay any extras was billed separetly.

My husband and I were travelling with our 13 year old daughter. We had the room on the top floor which had ample room and a nice decor. The location was perfect to walk around the centre of town and also close to the buses and train station. However the best factor was the restaurant. The meal was probably one of the best we had on our holiday. It was our daughter's 13th Birthday and my husband mentioned this to the staff in the afternoon and for dinner our table was set with pink serviettes and the staff made such a fuss of her! We finished our meal with a surprise birthday cake as well, on the house! I would thoroughly recommend this comfortable and charming penzion.

Penzion Martin is a small hotel located in a central Martin (Slovakia) almost within the pedestrian area. The rooms are very nice and spacious, with modern furnitures. They are cleaned every day. There is a TV and a fridge in every room. The stuff is really friendly, some of them speaking good English. There's a restaurant in the hotel where breakfasts are served. It's a'la carte restaurant and honestly breakfasts are the weakest point of the hotel. The rest of menu is really great for reasonable money. You can have a drink there in the evening as well, but it's opened just till 10 pm. And of course there is wi fi in the hotel, easy to access everywhere.

Penzion has good location and parking for free. Room was clean and big. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and has intresting form (choose dish from menu) - portion was enough big. When I be in Martin I know where I can live :).

It is pension, but functions as a hotel. Clean and high service provided, we could leave our luggage in the pension while discovering the city on the day of the departure (not to carry it with us). Yeah, luggage rooms are not any more standard in these days. Positioned in the center. Good breakfast, ok, it could be given more as we think breakfast is the most important meal of the day (but we also eat a lot, so for "average" it must be just ok. Tho only think i didn't really like was pop, commercial music on LCD during the sunday breakfast. Trying with folk or church, gospel (in slovak)?

During my visit in September 2015 this place is called MartInn, so I do not know about the name but address seems to be same as this. The limitation with this place is that the reception is not 24 hours and if you arrive after 10pm or leave before 7am you have to make special arrangements, which by the way is no problem. Staff is friendly and helpful and rooms seems to be recently refurbished. My room had a bit odd shape like an L with two single beds in different directions. Room was clean. During hot season I assume the rooms might get hot as there is no air-condition or fan in the room. Breakfast was included in the room price and it was like basic breakfast plus one choice from special breakfast menu. This meant bread, jam, tea/coffee and choice of egg or muesli.

This hotel is our #1 in Martin since we visited it for the first time in 2011 (it's our 3-4th time here). Rooms have been very nicely "upgraded" since our first visit (see my latest pictures). Restaurant offers very good breakfast and is great for lunch & dinners too (really one of the better-than-standard restaurants I ever ate at - chef knows what he is doing :-) Hotel offers of reasonable Wifi connection to Internet and free parking. We'll definitely return again :-)

It was a perfect night, except for the heater not funionol well. It was cold, falling snow. The breakfast with omelet and orange juice. The bread was tasty too. Good option for travelers. You are welcome.

Central location, off street parking, large, comfortable rooms. Good find in a city where accommodation difficult to find. Reception staff extremely helpful, with good English. Breakfast excellent and meal choices good with excellent taste and presentation. Would definitely recommend this pension.

What a lovely hotel in Martin! Quaint rooms, full amenities, restaurant. Great European breakfast. Close walk to town. Right next store to the Outdoor Museum. Beautiful views of the mountain in the morning. Lovely walking trail just outside. staff was great and friendly. Definitely would recommend this place. Nice respite for the weary traveler.
