pros: Located in the wood but very close to the city center of Martin. Amazing views and fresh mountain air. The entrance to Ferrata hiking trail is just behind the building. The á la carte food was really delicious, room (2 bedrooms) clean, stylish and spacious, separate toilet and bathroom (shower), small kitchen corner. Very kind staff. You can even rent a woody cottage for 9 persons in the neighborhood.A "goodbye" gift ,a bottle of wine, was really kind :) cons: Only 2 available sockets in the bedrooms (1+1) and one in the bathroom. Pastry for breakfast during weekend was not fresh. Room cleaning could be improved: first room cleaning after 2nd night, only taking out the trash is not enough in my opinion. Poor wifi signal in the room Nr. 3. Some guests are quite noisy, especially in the cottages.

I have to say the quality of this penzion was above expectation. We had a very nice stay here and enjoyed being surrounded by the forest with amazing views across the country. The facilities are modern and well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful. I don't speak Slovakian but since most of the staff spoke enough English, this wasn't a problem at all. There's a couple of minor points to do with not enough hooks in the rooms and management of the restaurant that we mentioned to the management, but they are minor and hopefully addressed easily. It is worth noting that there is a lot of construction still happening here, so there is some noise during the day and the roadway up to the hotel is far (far) from perfect, but not unusual for the area. Video walkthrough of the room wing uploaded separately

This very new hotel close to Martin is really worth to stay at. Stylish rooms, perfect spa and a very quiet place to relax. The staff is motivated & friendly, some more language skills would help, everything else perfect.

My husband and I stayed here for one night while vacationing in Slovakia. It was somewhat challenging to find the place, and it is at the end of a remote road. We had room with a queen sized bed, on the top floor of the pension, which had a total of 4 floors.. Our one “window” was actually a skylight, so we did have to close it when it rained in the morning. The skylight was too high to get a view of the mountains unless one stood on the bed. The price was good, €55 for a Friday night in July, including breakfast and with free parking We tried out the pension’s “wellness centre”. It was nicely done, with several types of saunas, a hot tub, and a relaxation room, but it was not really our cup of tea. We ate dinner at the onsite restaurant, as going anywhere else would have required driving. The meal and service was good. The staff does have the work very hard though, as the wine and beer have to be brought up the stairs from the bar, which is one floor below the restaurant. The pension was clean and comfortable, and when checking out next day we were pleasantly surprised with a complementary bottle of wine to take with us.
