We really enjoyed our stay in Janosik Hotel. Rooms were spacious, really clean and very comfortable. Despite the fact hotel is located close to the City Centre it was really quiet at nights. Janosik Location is also convinient when you go skiing in Jasna-Chopok resort - it takes around 20 minutes by car and prices are much more affordable versus Hotels located right in the resort. Breakfest were also excellent with wide range of fresh and tasty food each day. I can definitely recommend this hotel
We bought a three night stay with breakfast included and one free entry to hotel spa for a very reasonable price on one discount portal. It was a very fast and efficent purchase. Hotel staff was friendly, rooms are comfortable and clean as well as the whole building. Breakfasts are ok, but can get quite busy when some Herbalife event is taking place in the hotel. But the best is Spa. A few saunas and steam chamber, whirpool, little pool and warmed relaxing beds can soothe you after a long day trip to the mountains.
Very convenient hotel in a lovely small town. Walking distance to everything and a good place to stay when visiting Liberty Cave – a 15 minutes drive from the hotel. Rooms are very spacious (our had two bathrooms) and a convenient parking lot next to the hotel. Front desk people don’t speak much English.
+ excellent very rich breakfast buffett (big choice), lot of space where to sit down + comfortable bed + big bathroom + rather spacious room + clean and quite room + good value for money + free fast wi-fi and free parking + wellness (for 5 EUR)
I only stayed here for one night so was not in a position to use the hotels spa facilities. But for the money paid I think it was a good deal and good value for money. The hotel and room were clean. The room itself was a little basic, but still good enough. The bathroom was a good size and had some modern features. The breakfast was also good, with a good varied selection. The only average part for me was how unwelcoming the place was. It never felt like there was any warmth from the staff and therefore merely felt like a number. Apart from that it seemed like a nice place. Situated a short walk (10min) from the main part of town.
Good hotel in little older rooms, but with really nice wellness including four saunas and nice swimming pool and whirpool. Friendly personnel, nice restaurant and lobby bar. Limitation only - really slow WiFi.
We fell upon this town and after looking around decided on this hotel. Very glad we did! Great location on the edge of town but an easy walk from the station. The staff were incredibly friendly and accomodating. They even booked push bikes for us and had them delivered to reception. Room on the 5th floor overlooking the river was great and breakfast fine. Would recommend as a base for the area.
A good place to stay- bar and breakfast buffet very nice and staff is helpful. Really liked the steam, saunas, and especially the pool-all free but open 4-9:30 only so plan accordingly. Not sure why the hallways are not lit until you go several feet down the hall and really dark when the lights do come on-hard to see room number and where to put the key. Other than that, a good place to stay-free parking too.
The hotel is a soft reconstruction of a old communist building. The rooms are lile 15 years old. Ours was smelly, and had a wierd design with glass bathroom, so when going in the night, other person was wake from the light via the glass partition. The breakfast had a large selection, no bad points here. But the lobby bar is far too small for the size of the hotel. We did not fit, and were thrown out by the barkeeper shortly after 10pm. In a 4*hotel? Wellness area is nice, but extra to pay.
Stayed 5 nights. Purpose was to tour around - every day we visited another attraction. The hotel is nice, breakfast is good. Atmosphere is also good. But do not expect any luxury - everything is rather simple. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
