I made this reservation not knowing much about Kocise except that it was on our route in Eastern Europe. Approaching town, which is full of Soviet era block buildings, I expected a drab , barebones hotel. But no! Our room was quite large - a space for luggage, a walk in closet, a large bath and sitting space, plus a great view of the cathedral. Very clean. The staff was terrific. Several at the front desk spoke excellent English and helped us with restaurants and the trolley system. I don’t think most tourists venture out of the old city area, but we wanted to go see neighborhoods where the people live. If you want to do the same, take the number 6 or 9!

The hotel lies on the main street of Kosice. Staff are friendly and speak fluent English. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and fast wifi. The bathroom was spacious but our room had a bath - shower combination which meant some acrobatic moves to get into the bath. Breakfast was excellent with many fresh items. One thing that could nerve is the music played during breakfast: the same female singer over and over again. Location is excellent: close to the airport bus, a mall and the important sights. The station is a 800 meter walk. Would certainly stay here again

Beautiful spacious room great location. We had an infant and they immediately offered a cot at no extra charge. Staff were lovely. Located in the heart of the old city which is beautiful. Hotel was very clean

The hotel is located in the city center, at the beginning of pedestrian zone and opposite of shopping center Aupark. I was very satisfied with everything this hotel offers to the guests. I was welcomed with fresh baked cookie which is not common in Slovakia. The room and bathroom were spacious enough with all necessary equipment incl. bathrobe and slippers. The wi-fi was working without any issues (I was working a little bit with huge files and the connection had not crash). The breakfast was simply delicious with all various choices you can imagine. The gym and spa premises are well designed and I enjoyed every minute I spent there. I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone regardless of whether you go to Kosice for business or pleasure.

The hotel is very clean and finished to a high standard. We rented a king suite which came with a separate living room area, television in both living and bedroom. Large bathrooms. Great views from the rooms/corridors of the medieval old town of Kosice. From floor 12 the view of the cathedral in Kosice looks like a framed painting it’s that picturesque! There is a very reasonably priced good quality menu which leans towards local cuisine which is great, but still has the international classics you would expect in any hotel. Staff all very friendly.

This is the first Hilton hotel I ever stayed in. The price was lower than I expected, so I booked a room for a two night stay. The staff are very welcoming. The rooms are comfortable. I had the chance to upgrade my room, and since the upgrade cost was less than I expected, I went for the upgrade, and arrived to a very nice room. The hotel is close to the main sights in Kosice. There is a restaurant on the premises if you want something to eat. Your valuables are very safe in your room. You need your room key to use the lift, and there is a safe in the room. You can also use the jacuzzi or gym if you want, at no additional cost. If you want a tasty dessert, there are some very good options, and you might get a pleasant surprise as you get to the centre of the dessert.

We stayed in the Doubletree Hilton in Kosice for 5 night over the Christmas break/New Years. We were 2 adults and 2 kids (7 and 5 year olds). We all had such a wonderful experience ... the room and the entire hotel is so CLEAN and well run! The food in the lobby is very well priced and delicious and the breakfast buffet was very well stocked with all tasty meals (worth every penny). You cannot beat the location ...right at the beginning of the old city with all restaurant and amenities at your doorstop. My husband used the hotel Gym and was very pleased with it. We used the parking garage for all 6 days which was very convenient. The staff was just wonderful, they made the stay enjoyable. I would 100% recommend this hotel.

Without a doubt, DoubleTree by Hilton in Kosice is one of my favourite hotels I stayed at during my time in Slovakia! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. Mr Kozak from the reservation team kindly upgraded my room. The staff were extremely friendly (Mr Kozak, Mr Rigo and the rest of the team) excellent variety of dietary needs was provided. Doubletree by Hilton Kosice has an amazing view of the historical town centre. Fantastic location in the centre, a beautiful hotel, and superb staff who were all very helpful when needed. The room was very well maintained, and the housekeeping was very attentive. Well worth the price! I will return whenever in Kosice. THANK YOU!

Great hotel in a superb location. Staff are very friendly and helpful - especially the bar staff. Rooms extremely comfortable - I particularly liked the bed and the heated flooring in the bathroom. I did think the bar prices were quite steep though - €16 for a sandwich, for example. You can walk to pretty much anywhere from the hotel and the airport is around 20 minutes away by car. Breakfast was also decent.
