Overall the staff and convenience were as usual for the standard we have come to appreciate at Hilton and doubletree by Hilton in various countries.
Staff (especially at the front desk & the bar) are a great asset to your organisation and always presents a courteous, friendly and approachable demeanour which makes guest stays and queries we may have a pleasant experience overall. Dagmar (front desk) in particular, is an attentive and professional member of staff and excellent ambassador for the Doubletree by Hilton family.
I lost a silver bracelet during our stay and your staff are kindly keeping a lookout if it ever resurfaces.
On the ‘cons’ side; -we were unaware about the parking being chargeable but perhaps it was in small print on the hotel.com site. -minor fixtures in the room (shower door handle kept falling off, the soap holder in the shower cubicle was hanging, TV power went off like it has crashed a few times
None of the above made our stay anything but pleasant and we recommend and will definitely be returning to this hotel at some point in the future.

We stayed in the Doubletree Hilton in Kosice for 5 night over the Christmas break/New Years. We were 2 adults and 2 kids (7 and 5 year olds). We all had such a wonderful experience ... the room and the entire hotel is so CLEAN and well run! The food in the lobby is very well priced and delicious and the breakfast buffet was very well stocked with all tasty meals (worth every penny). You cannot beat the location ...right at the beginning of the old city with all restaurant and amenities at your doorstop. My husband used the hotel Gym and was very pleased with it. We used the parking garage for all 6 days which was very convenient. The staff was just wonderful, they made the stay enjoyable. I would 100% recommend this hotel.

Great hotel in a superb location. Staff are very friendly and helpful - especially the bar staff.
Rooms extremely comfortable - I particularly liked the bed and the heated flooring in the bathroom.
I did think the bar prices were quite steep though - €16 for a sandwich, for example.
You can walk to pretty much anywhere from the hotel and the airport is around 20 minutes away by car.
Breakfast was also decent.

This hotel has never been amazing in terms of service but good rooms and location was always the highlight. This time it was just terrible A couple “highlights” Upon check in I was given a king room though I booked twin and only got twin after I proved I had booked that A/C in the room was terrible though it wasn’t even too hot outside (I had two rooms and both were bad). You could set temp at a minimum of 19C but that wasn’t enough for the room to cool down Hotel was full and two days the breakfast was in the large banquet room. You would think if they move the breakfast to a not very charming place that they would upgrade the breakfast offerings. In this case, however, they even downgraded it. I asked for regular coffee instead of the espresso machine, and the answer was no, we don’t have regular coffee. If you do not offer regular coffee for breakfast, you may as well cancel the breakfast. Food was really mediocre. The staff looked like they did not want to be there, I certainly did not want to be there. The room rate was very high because of high occupancy and the service was extremely low because of high occupancy. It is nice to have refillable amenities in the bathroom like shower gel. However, they need to be refilled. Twice I came into the bathroom for a shower and these bottles are empty. That is a problem, especially if you are already in the shower. I think worst of all is that nobody really cares. You say something to somebody they will fix it after the fact, but they don’t really care about service. Next time I pick one of the nice smaller privately run boutique hotels.

I got a spacious suit on 9th floor with a view. The room was very quiet and I could work and relax. The spa included sauna and whirlpool and I could enjoy it without other guests. A tasty breakfast was pleasant start of a day. I felt really appreciated in the hotel.

Located at the end of the main old town street. Very easy to find.
Hotel staff welcoming and informative.
Having AC was excellent as it was rather hot during the day.
Has a cigar lounge, which I was surprised at, not a negative for me.
We were advised that we may prefer a room higher as to avoid traffic noise. This was 5€ a night.
The location of the hotel and the size of town meant you can easily meander to the hotel late at night. Pop in quickly for a cool shower before hitting the town at night.

We were pleased to have a very large top floor room with a nice view of the city and surrounding mountains. Our clean, modern room had a large bathroom and dressing room. It has a prime location in central Kosice, and very close to the main street (which during our stay hosted a Christmas market), as well as the state theatre, St. Elizabeth's cathedral, and a shopping mall. It is also an easy walk to the train station, which can take you by Jakab's Palace and part of the City Park. Service was professional and efficient.

The hotel lies on the main street of Kosice. Staff are friendly and speak fluent English. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and fast wifi. The bathroom was spacious but our room had a bath - shower combination which meant some acrobatic moves to get into the bath. Breakfast was excellent with many fresh items. One thing that could nerve is the music played during breakfast: the same female singer over and over again. Location is excellent: close to the airport bus, a mall and the important sights. The station is a 800 meter walk. Would certainly stay here again

I found this hotel pleasant and well situated near several attractions in Kosice city center. The staff were friendly and willing to take extra steps to solve problems that arose. I would not hesitate to visit again.

we can book a taxi for you. As Cubik101 has already written, we are cooperating with CTC Taxi.
Taxi from airport to the hotel is 17 € and from Hilton to the airport is 14 €. You can pay cash, by credit card in taxi or we can charge it to the hotel bill.

if you get really stuck its a 10 minute walk , through the park into town , turn left at Cathedral, hotel is at the bottom .
