Even before visiting Bratislava, communicated from India with this hotel for reconfirmation of our booking.
Amazing response from Kristina who offered to upgrade our room at a nominal price.
Again, a day before Checking in, sent a mail to her asking for her help to get connected to a travel agent for any local visit. Prompt came the reply and connection, through whom we had a day trip too.
Friendly and quick check in and check out.
We were provided with a beautiful Suite room but at our request it was changed on the second day to another bigger room. Though the suit was amazing, as seniors we found it difficult since the bed room was at a level above the living room with steps to climb.
There was a problem with hot water in the room allotted on the second day and they promptly attended to it too.
However, the point to note is that they gave a discount of €20 for that inconvenience while settling our bill. Gesture highly appreciated.
Beautiful dining place with friendly staff there too.
The hotel is situated in city centre and all important old city places can easily be covered by walking. The decor of the hotel is beautiful.
There is even an Indian restaurant Dosa and Samosa in just about 7 mts walk from the hotel.
ATM s too are nearby as well as many other shops.
Highly recommended.
Will stay again for sure is an opportunity arises again to visit Bratislava!
Special appreciation to Kristina!

Mumbai
From the airport it’s a bus ride which costs the grand total of £0.86 or an Uber at €9.
Set just around the corner from the main square it’s really quiet, spotlessly clean, really friendly staff and the room was a nice size with mini bar, coffee machine etc.
Breakfast was great with a choice of continental breakfast or cooked self service with a nice extra of Champagne if you wanted to start the day off with a bang.
Would highly recommend as all bars/ restaurants very close and the River Danube about a 10 minute walk.

We had booked a 'Delux double room' which was beautiful, at the front of the building which looked at the church opposite.
The room was well equipped, the bed was very comfortable, plenty of pillows, the bathroom was of a good size with plenty of towels and toiletries. The only thing I'd say is the air-conditioning didn't seem to work, it didn't turn off, up or down, but as we had a big window we could open this was OK.
The breakfast was included in the price with plenty of options each day and the waitresses, waiters were very friendly and polite, as were the reception staff and the concierge.
We did use the spa which cost 49€ for 1.5 hours, it is very relaxing with sauna, cold pool etc, however the steamroom wasn't working.
We also used a airport car booked via the hotel from Vienna Airport, this cost 79€ and takes around 40mins. There is a bus from the airport which is much cheaper but when it's +33° outside an air-conditioned vehicle is much more appealing.
The location is amazing, you are right in the old Square as soon as you step out of the door with over 30 places to eat within a 10min walk.
Overall this is one of the best hotels I've stayed in and would reccomend it for it's facilities, location and staff friendliness.
The breakfast was fresh and quite tasty. It featured hot items such as local sausage, eggs, potatoe pancakes and baked beans.
The only issue I had was the bathroom. The bath tub had a sprayer to use it as a shower…but it was really meant to be used as a bathtub. If you are tall you will not fit under the spray shower head. If you are very short or old you will not be able to step over the wall of the bathtub.
The entrance to the “Underground Balcony “ is a small door next to the luggage storage in the lobby.
The front desk girls were so helpful and pleasant.
What a fantastic hotel, Martin on reception was very welcoming, Pavlor really helpful and informative, he went out of his way to provide us with information regarding our day trip to Vienna, we were very appreciative and thought this very kind and the ladies at Breakfast were very friendly and worked hard to keep everything replenished.
The hotel offers everything, the location is fantastic the feel and atmosphere of the actual building just perfect.
Such a beautiful breakfast far exceeded our expectations, so much effort and detail, if we had one VERY tiny criticism it would be the food in the silver platters could be warmer, particularly the baked beans, but everything provided and on offer was exceptional.
We stayed in room 9 which was absolutely perfect very big bathroom with shower and a separate bath, kettle, hair dryer and FREE safety deposit box which was fantastic. Bed very big and very comfortable.
The location of the hotel was incredible, 2 mins walk from Tram Number 1 which we caught from the train station on our arrival, just around the corner from the main square and so close to everything, lovely bars, cafes & restaurants we couldn’t ask for more.
We would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay again one day!

Later Edit: This was my review a day after staying at the hotel. Two days later we received an email saying we had to pay 17 euros for a wine that was placed on the table in the room next to the bottle of water. Nowhere was it written that that wine or water were payable. Moreover, the hotel offer stated that a glass of wine per person was included. Since the restaurant was closed, we understood that that wine was from promotion. The wine was bad, we couldn't drink it, but we thought the gesture was nice. In fact, it was a hoax. I sent the hotel a screenshot of the promotion with the glass of wine. We will pay for the bad wine. Next time we will avoid this hotel.
The room (we had the Romantic Suite) was beautiful and cleaned daily. We enjoyed the breakfast options and there’s also a bar in the hotel which was beautiful!
The staff working in the hotel were all lovely and really helpful. Would definitely stay again!
Whilst visiting Bratislava we enjoyed a walking tour to see the main sites and buildings, including the castle. We also did a little bus tour to see panoramic views of the city which was also a great experience! Bratislava was a lovely place to visit and we will definitely be back!
We travelled into Bratislava by train and had downloaded the Bolt app (similar to Uber) to get a taxi in advance to get to our hotel. This is important as in our experience, we couldn’t jump into a taxi at the station, taxi’s only accepted bookings via the app but arrived quickly and we’re reasonably priced.

Due to Covid (April 2022), the hotel does not provide a daily room cleaning service. So asking for toilet paper, replacement toiletries, refills of tea/coffee/milk does rather detract from the pamper effect of staying in a lovely boutique hotel.
The room was a very spacious duplex on the 3rd floor, with the bedroom upstairs and duplex windows, but no view to speak of. We weren't advised beforehand of the stairs to the bedroom which were polished wood and rather slippy. A bit of a concern if you had to go down to the loo during the night.
The exclusive use of the wellness centre was extremely welcome and a very relaxing zen space. Unfortunately the steam room was out of order.
The breakfast buffet contained a good selection of hot and cold foods, but on a busy morning, some foods had run out and not replenished.
I understand the tv system has recently been upgraded, but perhaps brief instructions should be available within the welcome pack listing the channels available, how to use netflix, how the remote works and how to change the language on the tv.
Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely return.
We had booked a room with two separate beds as I was traveling with my son and when we arrived, they said they didn't have any rooms with two separate beds in my 'category'. For our second night we had to pay an upgrade to be able to get separate beds.
Location wise, this place is ideal, just off the old square. A really good base to explore and easy to stagger back to after a day/night out!
Architecturally speaking, this place is stunning and steeped in history.
The included breakfast was surprisingly really good.
Staff were all polite and professional, even the night guard who showed us the secret balcony late at night.
The room and residence overall was exceptionally clean.
The bed in a standard room was huge, as was the bathroom.
Only marking down for a few reasons:
Shower in the huge bathroom was pitiful
Air con in this hot weather was useless
Supposed to get a complimentary drink but never transpired even when I queried it
Charged almost 50 euros to use the spa, this doesn’t include any treatments, just use of the area
Most of all, I booked months in advance and made a point of saying we were stopping for my partners birthday which they acknowledged. Whilst I don’t expect a big fuss, or cake etc, it’s the little things that matter. Could they have left a card on the day or cheap bottle of fizz or complimentary use of spa? It would go a long way to securing a 5 star review and made us more inclined to return in the future or recommend to family and friends.
