Excellent hotel, Great location for all the sights and cafes/restaurants, Good size rooms, Lovely breakfast with a good choice. Best of all - the receptionists were wonderful - extremely helpful and friendly and always able and willing to answer my questions about the transport and other matters. Excellent experience and if I am in Bratislava again I will surely come back to the Arcadia.
Great hotel, service, kindly staff, hotel situated in the down town, breakfast amazing, clean and nice room.... everything was great! I didn´t find any mistake.Highly recommended this hotel. Just spa is not in the price (approx. from 45 EUR and more - depend which a package you choose) and garage also is not in the price included (approx. 29 EUR per 24hrs near by hotel).
Beautiful hotel. Nice rooms and great location to Castle, restaurants and shops. This was a midpoint stop between Budapest and Vienna. Was a short distance from main train station. Staff was great, highly recommend staying.
We have passed by this wonderful hotel so many times and now we finally booked it and we could not be happier. Top location, very close to the city center and a parking garage. This is a historic building with a beautiful reception area you normally find in Italy. The furniture and internal decoration follow this trend and you find a beautiful, laid-back, stylish, and still very cozy hotel. We had an Executive room (hope this is the correct designation?), very spacious, beautiful furniture, top amenities, a wonderful bathroom (I would have preferred a shower instead of a bathtub but okay, this is my personal preference), a great bed and the room also offers air condition. Impeccable cleanliness and wonderfully friendly staff. Breakfast is AMAZING!!! We will CERTAINLY return and can't wait for our next trip.…
Pros: It is housed in a renewed building right on old town. Rooms are really nice, with old-world style decor, our room had a great view to the castle, it was divided in two floors, with the bedroom on the second floor Location is unbeatable, one block away from main square, and steps away from all the attractions. The castle is a mere 15 minute walk. Overall facilities are in good order. Breakfast is varied and abundant, eggs, fruits, veggies, bread, cereals, juices, coffee, tea, pastries, etc. Staff: they were helpful overall with the exception of parking as I will explain below. Cons: The only drawback from this hotel is that it has no parking, but there is a parking garage one block away. Be careful NOT to park outside the hotel to unload or load your bags as the police has a camera and will fine you even after 1 minute if you park right outside the door, I believe it is a police trap, so be aware, in our case we were fined 20 euros for literally 30 seconds after I parked there. I guess the hotel could put signs or something to remind guests about this issue and is one of the reasons I would not give this hotel a 5 star rating.…
The hotel is located in a quiet street in the old town, a short walk to all attractions. It has an impressive foyer and welcoming, helpful reception staff, namely Martin & Daniel. Due to Covid (April 2022), the hotel does not provide a daily room cleaning service. So asking for toilet paper, replacement toiletries, refills of tea/coffee/milk does rather detract from the pamper effect of staying in a lovely boutique hotel. The room was a very spacious duplex on the 3rd floor, with the bedroom upstairs and duplex windows, but no view to speak of. We weren't advised beforehand of the stairs to the bedroom which were polished wood and rather slippy. A bit of a concern if you had to go down to the loo during the night. The exclusive use of the wellness centre was extremely welcome and a very relaxing zen space. Unfortunately the steam room was out of order. The breakfast buffet contained a good selection of hot and cold foods, but on a busy morning, some foods had run out and not replenished. I understand the tv system has recently been upgraded, but perhaps brief instructions should be available within the welcome pack listing the channels available, how to use netflix, how the remote works and how to change the language on the tv. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely return.…
Beautiful hotel, very central. Really nice to walk to the main sites in the old town. Room was good and comfortable. Nice breakfast. Restaurant not open for dinners, but they advised us on a typical Slovak pub with traditional food. Lovely experience.
A great boutique hotel in the heart of the old town. It is a fantastic little.place in a grand old house, easily walkable to the old town. Super friendly staff gave good food and attraction recommendations. Rooms were large and well appointed and felt very grand. Decent mini bar, very comfortable. The breakfast was great too! It was my second stay, and I'd definitely stay again!
This location in the center of Bratislava is the perfect place for exploring the city in an easy way. The wellness area is really nice and has lot to offer. Also private wellness is a great experience. The rooms are large and really quiet, which enables to relaxe. The staff was really nice.
Stunning hotel and quiet location on the edge of the old town pedestrian zone… helpful staff and spotlessly clean, decor is beautiful… we opted for a deluxe double worn a huge bed with a window rather than facing into the inner courtyard with no fresh air, although we had no view it was worth it to open the window. Breakfast was included and was a good variety of both hot and cold - highly recommend this hotel
