This is a great little place!!! I had no idea by its description online. I stayed in Room 14 which had four beds (on the ground - no bunk bed) in a ladies only room. The bed was fine, there were two outlets right by my bed clearly dedicated to my bed. The hostel provides a bath towel and a bath mat (super nice) and also a packet with earplugs and shampoo/body wash. Also, each guest gets an in-room locker plus a key to the lock ($10 Euro deposit for keys). The hall bathroom was really clean. There were several shower stalls each in it’s own little room with a door. Same with the toilets and the sink was more open. Downstairs there’s a super nice newer kitchen in a bigger room with dining tables. There’s also a good sized luggage room that is monitored with cameras and locked. There’s a bar and at check-in I was given a coupon for a free drink. An outside patio that’s super cute with plenty of seating and an inside lounge with two computers, are available, as well. Best of all there’s a really bright and clean laundry room with two washers and dryers each, for free. Detergent is a little baggie for 1.50 Euro. There are drying racks in there, as well. The parking lot looks pretty secure. Walking or driving to this place, you turn off the road and go through this little tunnel under a building, go maybe 30 feet further and then there on your left is the hostel. There’s parking. The staff was friendly and helpful enough last night, and the guy there in reception this morning was very nice and helpful. You can’t go wrong with this place. I guess it’s not that little, but everything about it was really nice. I felt welcome and comfortable as a woman traveling by myself. Not too far to the main bus station.

I had a great time staying at Patio Hostel! The hostel is in a great location in the centre of town. There was a cool bar downstairs and a free drink for each person staying. There was a trivia night while I was there which was super fun! Hassan who works there was really friendly and got everyone dancing at the end of the night. He was also very helpful telling us how to get around the city and helped me with getting to the airport. Would recommend! :)

Good hostel, much better than others in Bratislava (I stayed in others also). Reception guys are friendly and helpful. Washing machine and drying machine are free to use (except for the washing powder). Earplugs are free, towels are free. Location is great - right in the city center.

So, let's begin with the price. Everything is pretty cheap, considered what they provide to you: breakfast, washing machine, towels, game room... You can get all of this with 5 euros. The room i had was not the cleanest and it was pretty hot, but acceptable considering the price. The workers were extreamly: there was an Argentinian guy and a Lithuanian that were particularly interesting characters. Also, in the evening there were some cool events with prizes and that was also really interesting. I had fun.

I stayed for a day here and arrived quite late, the area is near a bar which for me wasn't ideal ,the place is central to bus stops and central attractions, the place is okay, good for a short stay ,sound travels so they give earplugs as you can hear voices chatting during the night

So this is my first time solo travelling and also one of my first times staying in a hostel. Overall was a nice stay and would recommend it. My cons are mostly out of the staffs control because other fellow travelers live like gypsies. My biggest advice would be get yourself out of the room and into the bar in the evening have a pint and chat to people. Personally the only time I was in my room was sleeping and that was it Pros: -Social Atomosphere ( The small group I met definitely made the trip) -Good access to the city -Very good for what you pay for - Nice staff ( I had to print out tickets for a day trip and was very surprised when the bloke on the desk printed it out for me) Cons: -Quiet Hours ( Staff don’t seem to inforce the quiet hours after 10pm, first night I didn’t get to sleep till about 0100hr) - Cleanliness ( a few times the toilets weren’t up to scratch, again that’s more the people using them not cleaning up after themselves) -Wifi is pretty rubbish, definitely needs a upgrade I was 30 euros for 4 nights and wasn’t murdered so would call it a successful trip 🤙🏻

We stayed in a shared dorm (6) during our stay, and wished that we had stayed elsewhere altogether. Fortunately the friendly people in our room made the experience bearable. The room had bedding that had not been changed since the traveller had checked out the night before. There were two (dirty) functioning showers across an entire floor full of dorm rooms and by the morning there was one toilet on the whole floor that had any toilet roll in it. The shelf by the bed that I stayed in was hanging off the wall, there were no privacy curtains or personal lights. At first we were also expected by default to share one locker until we asked about this and paid another €10 deposit to be given another. A lot of noise could be heard from the room from people in the hallways, stairs, toilet and outside in the garden area until late. I gave this 2/5, because despite having an overall terrible experience here, I appreciate that the clothes washing facilities and free welcome drink are useful, so it would not be fair to slam this overall for anyone else. The downstairs bar is also well equipped and a great atmosphere.

I was only staying for one night and I don’t think I could have managed another here. Cleanliness was definitely an issue and I felt unclean even after having a shower. I don’t like that the showers aren’t split male and female, I felt quite uncomfortable and the toilets all at once ended up having no toilet roll throughout the night and morning. Thankfully the room had lockers but even still I felt weary of my surroundings. I won’t be returning.

Here I discovered what a proper organized hostel mean. They had everything. And something plus: free stuff (like a free welcome drink and free anti snoring earbud). Position is good, bed comfortable. Bathroom can be somehow better, but all the rest compensate for this small inconvenient.

Good value for money. Very friendly staff. Good location. Sadly no breakfast, only breakfast packs. No aircondition but there was a fan. There is a locked bike room where you can safely lock away your bike. Nice bar and garden. Every evening there is an activity in the bar. You get a welcome drink coupon upon arrival, nice touch.
