They had every detail just right. They had a towel for use and a mini bit of shampoo on the bed. The place has everything. Laundry. Luggage storage. Great kitchen and lounge area. I love this place. Our room was very quiet. No street noise at all. We had a fridge and mini kitchen on our floor and had use of the very large downstairs new kitchen.
Had a private room with ny partner on the 5th floor, room was so small that couldn’t even open a suitcase without blocking the bathroom and entry door. Sheets were so old that they were already seethrough. Building was old and didn’t look very inviting, but we had already made the booking. Anyway.. not going back.
Me and the ol’ ball n’ chain/boss came here after our one night stay at Chors because they didn’t have availability for more nights. We should have stayed aaaanywhere else. This place is hideous. We stayed in a double private room. Dark and dirty, everything’s cheap and disgusting. No hot water in the shower either - love a cold shower in the morning. Awful. The staff are about as personable as a used sock especially the long haired fella - if you need a good sleep then go and get the energy drained out of you by his sunny disposition. The woman working there equally lacks a personality. GO TO CHORS - it’s on the main road in a super central position and the same price (was actually slightly cheaper) it actually feels like a hotel - clean, great vibe and good staff. Don’t stay in this Patio cesspit - it’s genuinely awful. Get some new staff and wash some things… You’re welcome.…
My group and I were looking forward to our stay at the Patio Hostel booked for early April. However, due to the coronavirus and borders closing (including Slovakia) we had to cancel our holiday. All other companies, air lines, coaches, trains and accommodation gave us a full refund or travel credits to use in the future. However, Patio Hostel refuse to budge and will not refund us as they are more interested in themselves and how much the virus will impact the accommodation industry - as per my messages from them. This epidemic is not the consumers fault either. Really poor to say the very least and I, along with my group and other travellers I know will never book here in the future. Have some morals!
Hello together, One of our stops at our Roadtrip was Bratislava. We had booked the Patio Hostel. The Hostel is clean and the stuff is good. The Bar at the hostel is nice too. You have an Animation Team, at my stay there was German and Marco, two guys from Mexico, they are two Back packers and very nice guys 👌 Ten Stars from me. We had a lot of fun at the evening with drinking games and 🎤 Karaoke German and Marco have to organize this games. When you are going with friends to Bratislava is the Patio Hostel a good choise and the position is in the middel of the City from that you can all do without car. You can park at the Hostel but they have only 6 places and one cost 10 Euro at night. In the near Is an other parking place with much places but I don’t know how much does it cost. Regards ✌️ …
