4-16-2022 This is a nice hotel nestled in the neighborhood of Bratislava on the hill. My room had a Garden which was beautiful. The views of the local neighborhood and the Bratislava Castle sitting on the hill was a night sight in the evening and especially in the morning. The property and the neighborhood was very quite. So you will rest well. Bratislava central station is only a mile away. The slavin monument is up the hill a half a mile away. Old town is short walk down the hill as well. The room was very clean and cozy. I would stay their again.
I ended up booking Hotel Antares last minute due to the Vienna lockdown and honestly almost was glad for it! Antares is a bit out of the way (it's a few blocks from the minibus and maybe a half mile from the main street), but the staff was incredibly friendly. The rooms were large and clean with great WiFi. And the breakfast was quite delicious. The only thing I can even vaguely complain about was that it is a bit hard to find and something of an uphill trek from transit. But if you're willing to deal with those two (very small) annoyances, this is an amazing budget hotel with a tremendous number of ammenities for its very reasonable price.
Located up hill, not easy to find in a quiet residential area, though downtown easy to reach by feet, good room, nice staff, simple but nutritious breakfast. NB paid parking: pre-booking absolutely required (!)
Simple hotel but has really spacious rooms. Good breakfast. Location is also quite good, about 20 minutes from Bratislava Castle. Not very clean also blankets are really to heavy for warm season. Some parts of furniture should be renovated.
Went here as our other standard hotels were either fully booked or advised crazy prices. Had already seen this hotel when searching for hotels so when our travel agency came with Antares as an alternative I decided to try them out. And to my full satisfaction. The hotel is located at a quiet street, a bit uphill. The hotel has 2 parking garages and the price for its use, EUR 12/night, is friendly. The hotel is very nicely decorated and has a warm atmosphere. The check-in was swift and friendly. My single room was spacious with a bit wider bed than normal for a single room which was nice. Quality of the bed was very nice and slept like a baby! The room has several window and doors one can open and has a balcony with a chair and table which is nice in the evening as the environment is nice with a lot of green. Bathroom is spacious as well with a bad and shower. Only small minus is that when you take a shower standing in the bath the floor may be very wet as there is no side glass. But minor remark only. Cupboard space is more than enough. Desk is ok and the WIFI signal is strong. Breakfast had a very good and wide choice. For sure an address I will keep in mind for my travels to Bratislava!! Recommended!…
This is a small hotel set on the hill above the old town. Breakfast was good with hot and cold buffet with plenty of choice. A good location, the rooms are clean and big enough with a very comfy bed. There is a small garden with a seating area which was very nice. Car park is located under the hotel.
The hotel is quite small, but really cozy and the room was quite large and decorated with style. The bed was suoer comfy. The hotel has an underground parking lot, which is a great plus, as the hotel is situsted in a hilly area with narrow streets.
For past years it’s not easy to find a reasonable priced hotel for a few nights in Bratislava. In hotel Antares I think you’ll be satisfied with your stay. A garage to park a car (12€ per night), clean rooms and good breakfast are reasons I will be back.
Had a nice snowy weekend here with 4 other couples...the hotel is well situated only 15 mins from the airport and 10 mins walk to the Old Town, Christmas Market and Castle...the hotel has a nice modern feel to it and the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean with a minibar and safe...the only issue we had was that when we arrived at 11.30 on the Friday night we were told the bar was shut..a drink before bed would’ve been nice...and as others have said - book a taxi through the hotel as we were ripped off at the airport (the driver had clearly said €14 to the hotel then insisted he’d said €40 which we then had no choice but to pay as our bags were in the boot) Would definitely stay here again.
The hotel was pleasant and very clean, the staff were very polite and extremely helpful. The location is great, you can walk from the hotel into Bratislava old town in 10 minutes. A great hotel for families. Bratislava Castle is not far from the hotel, breakfast was great with a wide range of choices. We would definitely consider this hotel for future holidays in Bratislava. Would definitely recommend to others.
