The hotel is located 30 minutes from the centre, but you can take a bus. The room was clean and big enough to spend one night. However, it’s very noise, so earplugs are advisable. Buffet breakfast was ok.
Easy access from the centre - tram No 4 stops about 100 metres from the hotel every 10 minutes or so (stop Shopping Palace, direction Zlate piesky), a shopping mall just opposite the street (some restaurants, Tesco supermarket open 24 hours a day). Served breakfast - 10 set menus to choose from. Nice staff. Although our window faced the main street, we did not hear much noise at night. The room was not much big, but was clean and warm. Free toiletries included only a little bar of soap. We could hear all the sounds from the neighbouring room - earplugs recommended. The hangers on the wall were not much strong, tended to collapse when we wanted to hang our jackets.
Hotel remy is so convenient for me ,the owners and all the staff are so lovely, fantastic breakfast and fresh coffee served with a smile , everything I need is here or a five minute walk away ,big 24 hr Tesco and shopping centre ,tram across the road that takes you into the centre ,zlate piesky lake is 5 mns walk ,if you want a nice family run hotel then come here .
Stinky smell is your first expirence after open the room. If you feel stuffy atmosfere inside and you open the window in the night you will wake up by the noises of passing trams and cars. The hotel is located not far away from the lake, so you will be sure that you will get some mosquito guests soon or later. If you like watching TV than you can choose one of 8 channels. Enjoy! Wifi is open and slow, but fast enought to submit this opinion... If you don't have much money, I wish you a pleasant stay at this hotel...
This hotel is not in the centre but taxi is not expensive (5€). Room is nice, not brand new but very clean and comfortable. Hotel service people are friendly and speak english. I return if I go another time to Slovakia.
I stayed here couple of times during my business trips. I like the place, it is clean, the staff is friendly and I always enjoy the breakfast. Parking is well organized and there is nice garden to sit and rest.
i have stayed here about five times and love the place, convenient for the centre ,tram stop right outside ,24hr tesco across the road ,large shopping palace, five min walk to zlaty piesky the lake ,the staff here are really nice ,good breakfast served and restaraunt ,this is the cheapest and best hotel in bratislava .
Although the rooms itself are OK, the noise levels are unbelievable. Toilet flushing will keep the surrounding rooms awake. Also if people talk in a normal way in the hallway, everyone can follow the conversation (if you understand Slovak of course). Not to be reccommended.
Very easy ride to the city centre: 2 tram lines heading there every 10 mins or so. Be careful after 21.00, as there is only one going to the hotel then. Very close to the airport (I WALKED there: just 20 mins!!). Opposite to a large shopping mall open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (hello, new Europe?). Very friendly staff. Their English is far from perfect but their big smiles make all the difference! Breakfast: different "menus" and items you may choose from. You pay around 40 SKK (about 1 €) for quite a reasonable breakfast that keeps your stomach busy for quite a few hours. Just one drawback: their tea is real bad, so maybe it would be a good idea to bring along your tea bags?! Clean, spacious rooms. They are renovating still so maybe when you get there all the shower facilities will be up to "Western" standards. It seems to be popular with bus excursions from other Eastern European countries. One drawback: the walls are as thin as paper so, if you happen to get neighbours, you may hear everything. There were very few people at the hotel durign our stay (4 nights) but one night a bus full of Lithuanians arrived and we could hear the difference...…
This is a fairly new hotel approximately 9km from the city centre. The rooms have the usual TV, telephone, safe deposit boxes, en suite shower & toilet. There is a garden with a small pond and seats. The reception is open 24/7 and can provide tram/bus tickets, cold drinks & snacks. There is also a hot drinks machine, lounge and TV area. Breakfast is served by waiter/waitress instead of the usual buffet. CCTV coverage and security guard make you feel very safe. The staff speak some English and are very helpful. There is a 24/7 Tesco Hypermarket close by where you can buy food/drinks or use the restaurant/cafes. Getting to the city centre is an easy 20 minute ride on a #4 tram. Or a #2 tram to the main railway station for day trips to Vienna at 317SK for a round trip. From the railway station a #61 bus takes you to the airport. The #2/4 trams also stop at the new Polus Centre which has a food court, multi-screen cinema and designer label shops. For 1226SK a day, for a single room with breakfast, this hotel is inexpensive and ideally situated. Their website is -------------…
