I only came here with my 6 year old daughter to use the pool. Well worth a visit. It has a 25 m pool for doing lengths and next to it a fun pool with fountains. in between the pools are 3 jacuzzis. It was 7.50 euros for the 2 of us for an hour. I was charged another 3 or an extra hour. It was worth the money and would recommend.

Enjoy

I have visited this hotel on April 29,2007. It is big, clean, nice hotel. Hotel personel are friendly, rooms are nice, hotel restaurant is big, and the food is very good.

I spent 5 nights in this hotel in September. As I am originally from Bratislava, I know the area. There is not much to explore, but the connection to the city center is pretty good. You also have a big shopping mall in walking distance.

Room was fine, nothing special but pretty spacious. Balcony is a plus. Bathroom could have been cleaner. WiFi worked, so fine.

However my big disappointment was breakfast. The fact that the choice is not huge is ok, everybody can choose. I would say there is lack of sweet bread/pastries for the morning. There were some "cakes" served, but it was pretty horrible. No taste, no filling. But still managable. The biggest shock was when the staff of the restaurant was debarrasing tables and there were putting all leftovers to two boxes they were carrying with them, so while eating you could hear "splash" and see how it all goes to one place. pretty disgusting as one of the first things you see in the morning.

Also I was surprised about the closing time of the hotel bar. we had a big international event where people spent the hole day there and wanted to enjoy a company of others, have a chat over a beer. But the bar was closing at incredible 10pm!!!

I would not recommend this place to anybody, there are much nicer hotels in bratislava for this price.

Rooms were dirty and uncleaned, the food was cold and disgusting, and the view was mediocre. The TV wasn't working and the wardrobe handle was broken. The breakfast and dinner were a type of buffet, but everything was cold and not worth the price at all. The wi-fi is working but it's not secure so connect at your own risk. It's also worth mentioning that the staff doesn't speak English so if you can't speak Slovakian the you're gonna have a hard time talking to them. I did not go to the swimming pool, however I know for sure that you have to pay extra to go. Fortunately there is a shop nearby so I guess that is a plus. TL;DR Come at your own risk.

We've stayed here for New Years. The hotel is very clean, and the rooms are spacious and warm. Breakfast buffet in the restaurant is very good, and only 5€.
Staff is helpfull but doesnt speak fluent english and we had some misunderstandings with directions regarding the tram station so we got lost. But the tram station was just around the corner, 300meters away :P On the station you catch the tram 8 and the last stop is the old town. Very good connection to the city so you don't need taxi.

I had to stay at this hotel because my company put me here. This hotel was nasty. The walls were blank, the old carpet was stained, the bed's "headboard" and "nightstands" were made of carpet (?!?!), the "nightstand" carpet was stained (DISGUSTING), there was only one outlet, the bathroom counter was filthy, the pillows and bed were like bricks, the internet crashed constantly, the view was of barbed wire, and the front desk didn't have the number for any restaurants nearby--even the pizza place from across the street.

If you're looking for a good value, this is a cheap place to stay. If you're looking for comfort or a clean hotel, go to the Doubletree down the street.

I really liked to stay at Nivy Hotel, we could arrive there by public transportation (bus 50 or tram 9 or 8 - directly to the old town center).
Simple and tasty breakfast and great staff that helped us to find transport and good places to good and things to do.
There's no bar at the rooms, bur there's fridge. The rooms are huge and comfortable.
The only "negative" point is that the room curtain is so thick that I woke up everyday with the sun at 5am...

As a 2 star hotel I thought it was a great hotel, but the location was not that great.
The rooms was good and so was the beds. You could hear noice from both the hall way and the next door rooms.
The hotel seemed a bit impersonal in its decor. The pool was a great feature, but it closed a bit early in the afternoon.
The breakfast and the food in general was to our likings.
Next time I would prefer a location closer to the river and the city center, but if you are looking for a hotel in this area this is a good choice.
