I recommend this hotel, very nice garden to sit outside, great location 5 minutes walk to the city center; receptionist was very kind and helpfull; breakfast nice. Hotel does not have lift but I stayed on the first floor so did not matter.
Not far from the city centre, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is in a side street and my room had a balcony. They have some spaces in an underground car park nearby. There is a pleasant enclosed garden to the rear where, in good weather, you can have breakfast. Breakfast is of good quality. The wi-fi works well and the stay was good value for money.
Spacious and tidy rooms. Family owned. Near center, Parking space in front of hotel. Good breakfast. Friendly people, service minded. Correct price quality - ratio. If coming again to Bratislava we will rebook!
This hotel suited my few nights away perfectly on the fringe of the old town without the noise of a city. I make it 20min brisk walk to the centre and also the large bus station (I'd come in via Vienna 50min coach ride) Unexpected pluses:- the spiral staircase others have seen it differently but its a lovely feature in its own right and in my case its use was an excuse to indulge in the freshly cooked pancakes at breakfast. I saw others have scrabbled egg etc all looked nice non was sitting there in trays all was cooked fresh a real plus for me. Now I know I was solo but the room was a nice size and well set out. Plenty of hot water and the bath filled up quickly. Not really any negatives for me the staff were all pleasant and this was illustrated for me when I tried to pay by card and for some reason it wouldn't complete the transaction (no I hadn't forgotten the pin and yes I had funds) anyway the receptionist was very relaxed about it and it worked the next day. …
Great property, charming old building in a quiet neighborhood, no elevator, but very clean and comfortable. My room had plenty of space, a spacious bathroom, and offered amenities such as coffee maker, mini-fridge, TV, good WiFi. The walls are a bit thin and I could hear the neighbors conversing, but this didn't bother me. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located a 10-minute walk from the central bus station, a 20-minute walk to city center, near many bus and tram lines, and near many grocery stores and restaurants.
Very friendly and attentive staff. Large comfortable rooms, nice grounds, good wifi reception, lots of outlets, nice place to stay. Hotel is in a central location from which the old city can be visited.
My room, bathroom and even extra entrance area were all clean and spacious enough, especially as I was travelling alone. It was hot and so luckily they had put an electric fan in. With that, it was perfect. The staff were very friendly and pretty efficient in their work. I liked the lady at breakfast who served up the food, although, again everybody I met there was helpful when I had a question. The garden and terrace areas, plus the supply of tea and sweets in the hallway were little extras that gave this family hotel a more personal touch. It's very easy to get a tram or bus into the centre, but I didn't use them once as I really enjoyed the 10-15mins stroll. I liked the balance of being quite near the old town, but not in it and so able to see a more functioning areas of the city,…
the rooms are nice and clean, the bed was not very confortable, it was a double bed but with two mattresses together. The windows are not very good too, pratically you wake up at dawn , the light passing through the windows. But the worst thing is the hot inside the room. How can you stay in full summer with 30° without air conditioning? We slept very bad, the rooms are very furnaces and if you sleep with open windows you can hear the cars passing by. Install air conditioning!
An interesting hotel that is a home converted to a small hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Close to the Old Town, it makes an ideal place to stay and explore Bratislava. Close to the University.
From the entrance you wouldn't realize how lovely it is inside. The rooms are big with comfortable beds. The bathroom was awesome. The staff is very friendly and will help you out with your queries and requests. There is no lift though as it is an old building. Let them know about allergies if you have any and they will accommodate that in the breakfast if possible. I would definitely recommend it. It is not too far for walking to the city or the main train station. But there are also trams plying from close by - I used the Blumenthal stop for reaching the city center (trams 5 and 9 if I remember right). Another nearby stop is Amerika Namastie but I didn't use it. There is a Tesco supermarket nearby if you need to buy something.
