Just got back yesterday 4 of us stopped here for 5 nights and we would all return to this hotel, it is fairly easy to find , we used public transport from the airport, reception area clean and welcoming and check in was easy, room was clean with comfortable bed and pillows and was cleaned daily, breakfast during the week was from 4am till 11am which I think is amazing, breakfast consisted of cereals, fruits, yoghurts, sausage, beans, scrambled eggs, hams, cheeses breads, tea, coffee and juices plenty to start the day off, we was also able to leave our luggage there on the last day whilst we spent our last few hours in Bratislava, staff in hotel was friendly and helpful with any questions we asked, location is ideal for castle and old town and public transport is right outside hotel, would recommend this place…
The hotel is located near the Castle which is just a 10 minutes walk up to the hill, but the historical old town area is also within 10 minutes walking distance, so you can reach easily the top attractions. It was the second time to stayed in this property. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good, you can find cold and hot dishes as well, inlcuding pastries and fruits, juice and coffee, tea. The room is simple and small, but clean. The bathroom should be renovated, but it is ok. The bed was very soft for me, so I could not sleep well... all windows can be opened, so you can let the fresh air in.
Just back today from 4 nights. Enjoyed our stay. Hotels is a couple of minutes to old town, bus stops nearby, airport ten minutes taxi ride. Room was clean and pleasant, lovely and warm, very comfy beds. Reception were friendly. Overall very good, would recommend.
Hotel is just couple minutes from the city centre, nice location, clean rooms, good beds, nice breakfast offer. You can open your window and let air inside, which you aren't able to do in all hotels. I recommend it.
Hotel is located on the edge of the Old Town, below the Castle and close to the Cathedral. Room was what you expect in an Ibis, comfortable and no-frills. Good choice at breakfast but there weren't enough staff so tables not cleared quickly enough. Most guests seemed to be there for business, rathere than tourists. Good value hotel with helpful staff.
Absolutely lovely staff. Very welcoming. The rooms are nice and warm with comfy beds to get out of the cold and the location is perfect. The beds were made every day and fresh towels were given. Everything was spot on! I would recommend anyone visiting Bratislava to stay here. The only thing which could have made it better would have been a kettle in the room- British people are big Tea drinkers! Haha
I choose this hotel, because the location was near the castle, the main destination i would like to go in Bratislava. It was very closed from the city centre as well. The room was quite spacious, although I couldn't get good view from my window. The breakfast was delicious. I also liked the restaurant or dining room. It was bright and it has a corner with a long sofa and pillows. I like
We always prefer to stay in Ibis Hotels whenever travelling around Europe. This Ibis in Bratislava is very nice, friendly staff, clean rooms and very tasty breakfast. We totally recommand it to everyone :)
We stayed here for a long weekend break and found the hotel perfectly located. Our room was quiet apart from the trams chugging by and disappearing into the tunnel behind the hotel which we liked, it added to the city feeling although Bratislava was very quiet and the streets deserted due to Covid 19 restrictions. Breakfast was a simple buffet and staff were polite and helpful. We left just as Bratislava went back into another lockdown, long after we had returned to normality in the UK.
In the last ten years, I have stayed in this hotel on four separate occasions. It is a budget hotel, but clean and with pleasant staff. There are some signs of wear and tear and need for some renovations, especially a paint job in the rooms wouldn’t go amiss. But for the price offered and the location, within walking distance of both the historical center and the castle, this hotel is value for money.
