Everything was perfect. The location of the hotel was great and we reaches every part of the city so easy, The breakfast was great and there was stuff there in order to help the visitors and to ensure that food is in a safe place (no hands, spoons, forks mixed ). The rooms were clear and disinfected probably, respecting the environment, There was everything in it , bathrobes, white flyffy towels, sanitary bags, There was also a machine cleaning our shoes in the entrance . The personnel was kind smilie helpful and willing to give you information and solutions. The library saloon is so atmospheric . the structure is so luxuriouw and of high aesthetic that gives you a very positive impression. The air smells freshness and the good vibes are all over the place.

On our little road trip of Christmas markets, this was our favorite hotel by far. It's charming, warm and had beautiful Christmas decorations. The staff was courteous, the breakfast well organized and the breakfast room was cozy. The rooms are well noise insulated and the l'Occitane toiletries smelled wonderful and were in eco friendly refillable bottles instead of single use plastic. The only thing I'd like to point out is that, even though the same sign as in all other eco friendly hotels hangs on the bathroom wall claiming that towels hung on the rack won't be replaced, our towels were replaced after the first night. Which is always a pity as we try our best to reduce our carbon footprint. Perhaps this is something that could be brought up with housekeeping. Other than that everything was perfect!

I stayed at Marrol's Boutique Hotel in Bratislava for a weekend in April 2023, and I found it to be tucked away on a quiet back street. The hotel's decor is reminiscent of an old English drawing room, creating a warm and rich atmosphere upon entering. The lounge and bar area, with its library theme, were particularly cozy. Although my standard room was a bit small, I had no complaints as it was clean, comfortable, and quiet, with excellent Wi-Fi connection. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always had a smile. The weekend breakfast had a great selection of both continental and hot offerings, and the complimentary bubbly added a special touch. The hotel's location was convenient, with a craft beer bar just 20 meters down the road and the old town within a 5-minute walk, eliminating the need for taxis. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for two nights and got their best room, with an outside, private terrace. Clean rooms with a tastful decor. There is a free minibar, that is stacked every day. The room we got also provided free PS4-console and a laptop, beside the two large TV's in the bedroom and living room. Due to covid-19 the breakfast has gone from a buffet to a chef giving you a plate of your warm, food choices. You can have some prosecco too, if you like. :-)

An absolutely fabulous hotel, I really can't recommend it enough. Beautifully and elegantly furnished throughout, this hotel provides ultra comfortable accommodation. Tea and coffee making facilities, slippers and robes, free drink at the bar and though our room was street facing on the first floor, the street was so quiet that we had no sleep disturbance at all. The twin bedded room was a little on the small side but for two fairly slight females this wasn't a problem and more than compensated for by the perfection of everything else. The location was perfect, just a short walk from old town with all its attractions but in a quiet residential street. Breakfast was top class with a huge choice of everything and the breakfast room was quite spacious.

Special shout out to the staff who couldn't be nicer and more helpful. From arranging our airport transport to restaurant recommendations, even booking the restaurants for us the reception staff couldn't do enough. The porters were also lovely. The nicest hotel staff I've come across in a very long time and I travel a lot. They really made us feel so welcome and made the stay very special. Well done Marrol's! I can't wait to go back!

Very nice hotel a short walk from the best area to hang out in the interesting city. Good breakfast and efficient and helpful staff. We discovered upon awakening our last morning there that our car/driver was canceled a few hours earlier and our travel agent had emailed the hotel requesting that a hotel taxi be arranged for us. I was greeted with a smile at the front desk and before saying "good morning" was told the taxi would be there at the appointed hour. It was. One day the housekeeping staff didn't get our room made up. Just some confusion by staff about when we were there or not. No big deal. Housekeeping was there to take care of the room and the front desk manager insisted we accept a bottle of Slovak wine as an apology and gift. We most definitely would stay there again.

This was our first visit to Bratislava and the Marrols Boutique Hotel had been recommended in a newspaper review we had read. The bus from Vienna airport dropped us about half a mile away on the banks of the Danube and we walked in the cold to the hotel which is located in a fairly quiet street further down. The location was very good for visiting the Christmas markets, the old town, the blue Church and about a 20 minute walk up to the castle. It was a very cold December spell when we were there with snow and the roaring fire in the hotel foyer was most welcoming. The Christmas decorations were bright and tasteful but not overpowering. We didn't eat at the restaurant when we were there but took breakfast there like everyone else which was buffet style and plentiful (although no fresh coffee - only stuff from a machine). The tables are quite close together so that might be a consideration if you do decide to dine there.
We booked a premium room (305) facing the front of the hotel - I'm not absolutely sure what the benefits of a premium room are, though. There was some street noise mainly in the morning but it wasn't a problem for us. The room has a 'free bar' consisting of soft drinks and a local beer if I recall but once these were consumed, they were never replaced during our stay. You receive a free drink voucher to be used in the hotel library bar for a sparkling wine, water or a fruit juice. The staff were on the whole friendly and helpful (in particular one member of staff from Honduras who was especially kind). For some reason during our stay, all the kettles were removed from the rooms - it would have been good to let the guests know that this was going to happen in advance. All in all a good base from which to explore Bratislava.

I booked a single room and it was a true single but spacious enough for one person especially based on the very reasonable tariff. The bed was a bit bigger than a twin but probably smaller than a double. Big enough. There were the usual amenities - fridge, safe etc plus a small espresso maker and 1 pod which was replaced each day with 1 more. The bathroom was small but modern and I was asked for my preference of a shower or a bath. A very good buffet breakfast was included with lots of choices. There is a great 80's playlist in the restaurant. There was also a separate bar with comfortable chairs and nice ambience. Guests got a coupon for a free drink. The large reception area has a real wood fire.

On the "could be better front" the only power outlet within reach of the desk was under it and I spent too much time crawling in and out with mobile phone and computer cords. The hotel is busy and the check in process is cumbersome and time consuming. There has to be a better way of doing it. On the other hand, the reception staff are charming and helpful. I had dinner in the restaurant one night. The menu was fairly short and somewhat overpriced so there was no return visit.

The hotel is very close to the old town and excellent value. I would return if in Bratislava again.

Can’t fault anything with this hotel. Just fantastic, the attention to deal and quality of everything. Would highly recommend and WILL return to this hotel when staying in Bratislava.

Breakfast- decent selection

Room- spacious bathroom, everything you need, everything is thought of.

Comfortable bed with a smart TV with plenty of channels and Netflix etc(if you have your own account)

Tea and coffee in the room as well as a minibar which is included in the room rate and is replenished daily.

Very helpful and polite staff.

We stayed here three nights in September 2019. The hotel is very good, it deserves all the 5 stars it has. The location is also very good, very near to the center (easy walk) and near the river. The room was nicely decorated. We expected something bigger for a hotel of this level, but for two it was manageable. We did not try the restaurant but it looked nice. Breakfast was good but, somehow, we expected more for a 5-star hotel. It was nice to have the minibar replenished every day. The hotel has a spa but you have to reserve it and pay for it. A useful thing was that they have umbrellas for you to use.
The only wrinkle was that, according to Booking.com, the hotel had an airport shuttle, but they don't. What they do is just call a taxi for you and you pay 22 € for the ride.
