Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just back from an excellent stay at this hotel. The hotel is in a quiet area of the city. It's about a 30min walk to the old town but download the bolt app and it eill costsm as little as 4euro. Never waited more then 5mins for a taxi and I used them 10 times. We had a room on the 6th floor with a balcony (for smoking) the room itself was small but it had everything required with an very comfortable bed. The rooms without the balconies were very big and spacious. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice between hot and cold and it changed every day . I would highly recommend this hotel when you are visiting Bratislava.

Music pumping through the hotel at 11pm and reception staff just told me that the party downstairs is scheduled till 1am. Contrary to the 10pm night time quiet hours rules (I also asked about this) it is impossible to relax here, never mind sleeping. Wow, I have stayed in a few noisy hotels but this is on another level.

Stayed at this hotel a few times previously whilst in Bratislava, like its old fashion charm. Nice, refurbished rooms, clean and spacious, same with the bathroom. Breakfast plentiful and good. Located in a quiet area near the city centre.

The hotel interior brings you back to a time when the hotel had its heydays some decades ago and where I suspects influencial people frequented the place. That also means the hotel is quite dated but for some reason kind of play into the above described feel. The hotel is approx 20-25 min from central Bratislava walking. Breakfast was good.

The rooms are of a comfortable size and provide all necessary facilities. Bedding is ok. Decent choice for breakfast although not great variability over the week. As part of a big group we had lunch and dinner provided and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. A bizarre and tiring thing was that there is not direct access from the room floors to the restaurant and the meeting rooms (unless I did not discover it). From the rooms you had to get to the ground floor (lift or stairs) and then climb up to the restaurant and then to the meeting rooms only by stairs and the reverse for getting back to the rooms. Good for exercise but a problem for those with reduced mobility. The hotel is far from the centre and use of public transport is recommended (very cheap). Staff are polite and helpful.

I booked a short break to Bratislava with Lastminute.com , the total price for hotel+flight was too attractive to dismiss. Our expectations for the hotel were not high considering what we had paid but on arrival we were staggered by the grandeur of this 4 star hotel, we were given a top floor room with balcony overlooking the city, the deal included breakfast which was plentiful and varied cuisine, we coudn't believe our luck. The staff were polite, smart and spoke English, we had a fantastic time in Bratislava

We stayed here and were booked into this hotel as part of a package and we had no choice about the hotel. It was a nice hotel very much in need of a refurbishment. The carpet on the stairs was worn through in places and was generally outdated. The room was good as were the staff the breakfast was ok. The biggest issue we had was with the location we were told it was a 10-15 min walk to the centre it too us 45 minutes and we took the bus thereafter.

Excellent location for hotel, very friendly staff. Some of the decor could do with an update, but this is so minor, for me it did not have any negative effect. The dining room where I took breakfast was gorgeous! And the bathroom was modern and really beautiful too

Hotel was nice! Pretty comfortable stay, cosy room, little outdated, but overall happy with it! Clean, presentable and main thing was air conditioning! I’ve booked it in summer, so air conditioning was a must! In Slovakia, it gets uncomfortably hot during summer months, so booking a hotel without aircon, would be a terrible mistake! Our room, was a family room and costed over €100 a night, which was pretty pricey, for what it was, but there was nothing wrong with it! Just a little overpriced for what it was. Would definitely stay again, probably would book more in advance, to get better deal.
