Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It’s very close to the city centre so everything is accessible by walk. The room was clean and smelled nice, it had a tub which was great. The only negative thing was that the glasses in the room and in the bathroom were used and very dirty. Despite this we had a nice stay.

This small quiet hotel is located only 5 minutes walk from the old town. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Breakfast was served in a local cafe c 2 minutes walk from the hotel. It consisted of a generous hot and cold dishes and plenty of good coffee. Staff were very helpful.

Clean hotel, great location short walking distance to all attractions and restaurants. Hotel is quaint and staff are nice. In the morning, the street was loud and our double bed was two single beds pushed together, but other than that a good night stay.

This is a wonderful small hotel. Everything is very clean and everyone is extremely nice. I’m so happy we stayed here instead of at a large hotel. There are restaurants near by and it’s only a walk to downtown.

This hotel is within an easy 10 minute walk of the old town with excellent staff. We were given the room behind the front desk which was large. The bathroom was excellent with a good shower and bath. The only negative for this hotel was that the curtains were broken in our room so we could not completely block out the light and as we were in the room behind the front desk we could occasionally hear customers talking to the receptionist through the door.

I am surprised by the reviews of this "hotel" as it is really an upmarket hostel. There are no facilities here that you would expect to find in a hotel. For a start the building is not the one in the photo, it is located down the street from the building advertised. There is no lift and I was given a room on the 2nd floor under the eaves. So had to haul my case up 4 flights of quite dangerous spiral steps. There was no fire escape. The room was very clean but basic. A small desk held a kettle and coffee no tea or milk, a small TV with 2 remote controls but no instructions how to use them - clearly they needed to be synced. Had to draw the curtains as the buildings opposite could see right in. The bathroom was finished nicely but the shower was enclosed under the eaves and had no light or shelf to hold shampoo etc. And the towel hook was located over the toilet roll holder at the same level as the toilet?? The high standard of finish in the bathroom was ruined by a cheap plastic toilet seat. There is a tiny breakfast room with 2 bistro tables serving a continental breakfast for an extra 6euro. There is no bar. Free WiFi but I would expect that. It is very noisy on the street and as the room was quite airless had to keep the window open which meant interrupted sleep. The room was not cleaned on the days I was there. There is no air conditioning in the room. The receptionist was nice and helpful Whilst the place is near the old town. nicely decorated and very clean I don't believe it warrants a charge of €366 for 3 nights and no breakfast. I am surprised by some of the other reviews as this is not a hotel and perhaps other rooms were different but in my opinion this is one is a pretentious imposter.

I had a lovely weekend stay here in the Capricorn room. The hotel has little breakfast room with lots of breakfast materials including a few hot options. The staff were very friendly and popped through to ask if I would like a drink making or anything else to eat. The room was pleasant with a lovely bathroom that boasted a huge bath, the bed was extremely comfortable with soft silky sheets. The bed wasn't the double I thought I was receiving however two twins pushed together but this often happens when you're a Booking.com user so nevermind they were pushed together so it doesn't really matter. Also the television in our room was very small if that bothers you.

This hotel is amazing only issue was the curtains didn't cover the windows totally and as we were on a walkway we had to put something on the window ledge to try to keep the light out. That said the room was great we had 6 different rooms as a large group travelling for a hen party. Mattresses very confortable and rooms had hairdryers and tea and coffee making facilities. Would recommend as only 5 mins away from centre. Staff very helpful. We were charged £35 euros in a taxi from airport but because the receptionist ordered us the taxis back to the airport we paid 15 euros.

We stayed here for 1 night at the beginning of our Bratislava/Vienna trip and were impressed. The room we were given (Aquarius) was spacious and clean and had nice comfy beds. The bathroom again was clean with a great shower and good hairdryer available. Nice clean towels and plenty of them. However, we came back to the hotel a few nights later after returning from Vienna and were given a different apartment that we weren’t as impressed with. The ‘Leo’ apartment on the ground floor, whilst bigger and just as clean as the Aquarius room, had several problems. There was a pungent smell of air freshener when entering the apartment, which seemed to be intended to mask the intense smell of damp/drains coming from the bathroom. The smell really was quite bad and not pleasant. The bed also was quite uncomfortable with only 1 very thin pillow each, meaning a sore neck in the morning. The shower was super powerful which was great, but the water wouldn’t heat properly so that was quite unpleasant. The location of his hotel is really good, a 5-10 minute walk into the centre of the old town and there’s a few bars on the way which we enjoyed. The staff are also really helpful and pleasant. We didn’t eat at the hotel for breakfast so cannot comment on that. I would maybe stay here again, but would probably request a room on the upper floor rather than the ground floor, as maybe this is where the problems with the smell of drains/damp stem from?
