Perfect central location with plenty of great restaurants and pubs nearby. Modern, spacious and clean rooms. Friendly and knowledgeable staff members. I'd highly recommend staying here, the private rooms really are like staying in a hotel!
Really recommend this hostel, it really is like a hotel. It is clean, modern, smart, the capsules are spacious with light and socket and plenty of storage. Towel included in price. Beware though the top bunks are pretty high and the ladder a bit precarious! I was in a 4 bed female dorm and it cost me £10 a night in booking.com . Absolute bargain. It is in an excellent location 5 min walk to old town. h and m , mcdonalds, tiger copenhagen, supermarkets and restaurants all right beside the hostel on the main road. Tram stops there also to go direct to main train station. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good for the price of it, juices, different teas, cereals, coffee machine, bread, rolls, sausages, meats, cheese, fruit, yoghurts. Plenty of choice My only complaint is the heat in the hostel it is soo warm. The air con in the room doesnt help much but does a bit. I highly recommend the hostel thanks for a great stay.…
Very good prices, extreme value for money and veri helpful personnel. Also the breakfast was pretty cheap and vfm as well. We stayed in a six double bed room and the whole hostel experience was good. Lockers are available with plenty of space for whatever you need and they open with your room card. The 4 stars are because the night we stayed was extremely hot, the air condition was on but not perfoming so well and in this beds its pretty hot inside. Especially in the dowstairs beds. So sleeping was a problem but it was too hot that night so its not entirely hostel's fault. Last but not least, a very very nice location to explore bratislava to the fullest.
I spent whole months september and october in this luxury & clean hostel for very good price. Receptionists are super kind and helpful. Highly recommend for anybody who wants to stay in old town of Bratislava!
If you are looking for a little bit of hostel luxury, this is definitely the place. The individual capsules are just gorgeous. They have really gone all out on the attention to detail. If you are used to social hostels where you can meet other backpackers, it might seem a bit quiet, but you can meet other travellers on free walking tours. It's the perfect walking distance to everything. The free breakfast was great too. Really enjoyed my stay.
I'll start with the good: staff is young and friendly, prices are more than fair, and the facilities are nicely decorated and generally in good condition. Breakfast was adequate for its class. This was a very practical solution for a one-night stay. You know how your bedroom smells right when you wake up in the morning, after you (and your partner) have spent the entire night sleeping there? Now imagine walking into a room that smells exactly like that, only the smell doesn't come from you and your beloved partner - it comes from strangers sleeping in the other beds. The room I stayed at had no ventilation or air circulation system. There were windows, and as I came in January, they were closed shut. I arrived around 1am, and while check-in was quick and painless, as soon as I entered the room where I was to spend the night I was hit with a wave of sleep-smell. The common space in the room was used by other guests to place their shoes and to dry their towels on the radiators, which certainly didn't help with the atmosphere. This overlooked element - air circulation - is exactly what separates a classy, Japanese-inspired "capsule hotel" from a simple, if stylish, youth hostel. The "capsule" here is no more than a comfortable dorm bed with a curtain for privacy. What a shame.…
The location and the room were great, but didn't like the attitude of the staff. The didn't even try to help at all. Also we stayed only for a night and we checked in at 15.00 and we had to check out at 10.00
With a great location just a short bus from the airport (90 cents each way for 20 minute journey), we stayed here for one night. The rooms are spacious, clean and been thought out very well. There were small cabinets behind the beds for each pod, wardrobe space and a locked box for all essential use when sharing with others. The lights went on and off by sensor so that nobody is responsible for turning off the lights every time! In your pod, you have a plug socket and small shelves either end of the bed. They were warm and much bigger than you'd would expect, with very comfortable pillows. I personally could not get up the ladder for our top bunk which worried me as it was steep and metal steps with only a small space for getting up. Luckily, they had room to move us to the bottom bunk and it was much easier getting up in the night. The shared bathroom facilities were also clean but only towels were provided so bring extra shampoo/gel. Reception area was welcoming and hosted a small but decent breakfast included. I had a hot sausage in a bun and there was cereal and hot drinks. Very decent for the price you pay. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here for the location, price and cleanliness. Even the experience is worth a stay for. I definitely would suggest a bottom bunk as even the boys in our room struggled in the night which was funny to hear but I am glad it was not me. Pubs and bars opposite with the old town just 15 minutes down the road. I hope the place stays clean over time and everyone can enjoy it like we did.…
The experience with the hotel has been a complete disaster. My girlfriend and I just arrived, at 9:00 p.m. from Vienna, to one of the single rooms of this hotel. When they tell us that this room (number 21) is right there, in the own reception. Despite this, we signed a document, signed by all guests, which force to respect the silence of all the guests from 10:00p.m. until 6:00a.m. It was 11:00 p.m. and everyone was still making noise. After going out to ask for silence several times, we went out to say it was a shame. And the receptionists have told us that they could’t do anything. After telling us that they could not do anything to help us, we decided to cancel the accommodation and go to another nearby apartment (thank God there was something free at this time). Despite this, they do not return the money for the entire accommodation, only for one night. One of the worst hotel experiences I've had in all my travels in Europe.…
Great location, only a 10 min walk to the Old Town. From the very beginning, when booking, everyone was very helpful, especially when answering all my questions regarding the vegan options for breakfast. Thanks for providing non-dairy milk! Much appreciated! The rooms are really good - loved the capsule concept. Rooms are very clean, tidy, as well as the toilets/ bathrooms and common area.
