This is hotel is on the river, within walking distance of the historic city centre. It is very modern, and the room we had was truly luxurious and comfy. Great breakfast. There’s a swimming pool and gym on the top floor. The gym is the best hotel gym I’ve ever seen. Lots and lots of great equipment, lots of space and nice views over the city.
Wonderful hotel with lovely staff especially Kristina, Zsolt, Anna, Maryanne and the other girls at reception, Martina at the spa, all the breakfast staff and all the others I forgot! They all helped make my stay extra special. The room was great with amazing river views. The housekeepers were sweet and helpful even though they couldn’t speak any English. Hope to be back one day!
we stayed one night at this hotel. We were greeted by a front desk attendant (Zuzana) who was not particularly welcoming. The room was average in size and had a side view of the Danube. The worst part (but that's my fault for not checking) was the location about 20 minutes walk from the city which is ok during the day but after dinner not so convenient. Breakfast was very nice but a little expensive. The restaurant was closed for lunch so we ended going next door (which was fine). During our checkout, we were informed that our car service was waiting for us so we were trying to leave in a timely manner but the same Front desk person was busy helping another couple check-in and completely ignored us (not calling for another attendant) . After waiting more than 15 minutes, the concierge took pity on us and let us give them our email so they could send us the bill and check-out. I would not stay here again, the location is too far from town, staff is very uneven and rooms are nothing special.…
The hotel have a real five star premises. Especially the spa is really nice and the views are excellent. We stayed in Danube suite, which was perfect with similar views to the river (lower level though). The breakfast was very good - and we got excellent service. The excecutive lounge (the grand living room) of the hotel was good, but it could be even better. It was surpsing personal (and unpolite) question what receptionist asked when we arrived. It should not be happen in any circumstances in this kind of hotel. The hotel is bit far from the city center, but location is otherwise excellent.
We had a nice room but were very disappointed with the freezing pool where you need to pay about 30 Euros each time you use it. At least if it were warm it would maybe be worth it. It's a beauty but what's the point if one cannot enjoy it. The hotel is at least a 20 minute walk from town. In a way it can be an advantage as it's good exercise but late at night it's not that nice. We took taxis which are not expensive. The attendant from India in the restaurant was delightful. Also the porter who took our bags. We did however experience a very nasty attendant in the breakfast room. We ordered toast a la carte. As he was nowhere to be seen we went to the buffet table to get some butter. He considered this a serious crime. I was frozen by his reaction and aggressive attitude. They need to train some staff with customer service. In conclusion we would have preferred to stay in the old town.…
We spent here 4 nights and it was a very good experience Using our Marriott suite award, we were upgraded to an amazing suite. This suite always entitled us to a free entry to the spa , and the lounge ( called the grand living room) . Breakfast offers a great buffet with additional options from the menu. Very friendly and attentive staff. Yona, the reception manager was more than helpful with any requests and Christina was always ready to assist and simplify everything Alex, the concierge was extremely helpful with tips and recommendations. The hotel is located on the Danube river and is about 30 minutes walk from the old city or 2 stops with the Tram that stops just across the street . Hopefully will be able to return soon!
I stayed here for 3 days on a work trip. The pluses: 1. Location is the best. A half mile walk from the Old Town area. The property is facing the River Denube so nice walk/run location the minute you step out of the property. 2. I got the breakfast package and its plentifful and skipped lunch because of the variety of selection. Whats really unique is other than all the standard fruit juices, they have two additional choices of carrot+another vegetable and beats+a fruit. Really enjoyed them to my heart's content 3. Their fitness center (photos attached) is outsized for a hotel property. It is massive and every equipment/free weight you would find at a dedicated health club. Its probably a top 3 fitness center at any hotel I have stayed at. View from the center is pretty awesome as you can see the River Denube on one side and residential area on a hlltop on another. The not so greats: 1. Food menu is limited to just pizza after 10pm. I realize that at some point hotels have to limit what the kitchen serves and 10pm is good a time as any. But there should be some choice (even cold sandwiches) 2. There is a bit of misdirection as to the pool. Not sure if intended or unintended. You look at the pictures and can assume there is a pool available for guest use. The pool is part of a spa run by a different company and not available for general guest use unless you consume a spa service. I happen to have use of pool voucher but I didn't have time to use it but this is not correct to put the photo on. Any hotel I have been to that puts a picture of a pool is implying that anybody can use it without paying more. I just want you to be aware of it, thought there are plenty of other good reason to stay at the hotel.…
The hotel staff are very welcoming and nice from the point of entrance into the hotel checking in and finally getting in to the room . Lovely view. Centrally located within the city. The hotel has the luxurious look and Yes they have a nice breakfast selection. The rooms are very comfortable and good WiFi.
Lucky enough to attend a two day business meeting at this hotel which had good conference facilities and very comfortable rooms. The catering at the meeting was very tasty as was breakfast - full of choice and good service.
This hotel was a fantastic little getaway for my wife and I. We didn't know what to expect from Bratislava (only images from Eurotrip!) but this hotel pleasantly surprised and was indeed part of the Luxury Collection. It is located on the river and is an easy 20 minute walk to the Old Town along the river. The room we had was very luxurious and it was a shame we were only there for one night. We highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Bratislava.
