Check-in 15:00 but we got to check in already at 13:00. The hotel is located a bit from the city center but easy to reach with a short walk. Big room with seperate rooms for shower and toilet. Pretty noisy air conditioning and really bad TV reception, it was not possible to watch. Not the best water pressure in the shower. Soft bed which felt well used, good pillows. Good kitchen area that made it easy to cook your own breakfast if you wanted to. An ok hotel.
Really lovely hotel, we had the business room which was really spacious and nicely decorated. We also had a view of Bratislava Castle which was amazing. The only flaw with the room was the shower. It honestly covered the bathroom with water even when we were trying to be careful. The receptionist was as helpful as possible and gave us a bed sheet to mop it up, as house keeping weren’t there in the evening to get us towels. In the morning we had 3 towels and the bed sheet outside the shower and it still created a huge flood on the floor.
My room was huge, had a full kitchen and a nice view. The Mamaidkn staff is excellent and the prices are low. This hotel certainly provides great value and I'd definitely stay here again. A small note: it's a five-minute walk to a more central area of Bratislava, but that was fine with me because it was quiet and located in a very nice area.
A lovely hotel with a friendly staff. And the hotel has the perfect location - easy to find and almost everything is in walking distance. We had a wonderful time and look forward to visit again. Thank you!
Excellent stay at this hotel. Booked an executive room which was spacious and well appointed. Breakfast is offered at €10 per person and is good with only hot item being frankfurters, the rest is cold meats cheese etc. The walk into the old town is about ten minutes and a slight incline on the way back. The Slavin war memorial which contains the graves of over 6000 Soviet troops from WW11 is about 15 mins walk but up hill, worth a visit.
There was everything you could need. I wish we had had more time to spend in the room. The breakfast was good and staff were nice. The location was nice too and you can see castle as you leave the reception in the distance.
We were lucky to have a beautiful suite in the annex of the hotel. Immaculate, spacious room. It was the best birthday surprise long weekend break from my son and husband. There was plenty to eat in the continental breakfast too.
We had a lovely stay at Mamaison. We arrived late, in the early hours, but were met with 0 issues when checking in. Staff were nice and the process was quick and easy. Our room/apartment was spacious, with a comfortable bed and sofa. We also had a tv and a basic amenities kitchen. The hotel is a 15-20 minute walk from the center of Bratislava, beware the hills! But easy enough to find and navigate. Some free coffee would have been amazing as we had a kettle etc but nothing to use it for! Aside from that, lovely hotel, good location with nice staff. Would stay again!
Stayed here for 7 nights. Hotel was really nice and the staff were pleasant. Parking outside and a 10 minute walk to the centre. Our room was a great size with separate toilet and a bathroom with a shower in the bath, separate bedroom, kitchen with fridge/freezer and lots of utensils, cooker, microwave, table & chairs and a living room area. Had a view of the centre. Breakfast was included not a very good selection but ok. On the morning of my husbands birthday the staff sang to him & he got a bottle of wine. Would stay here again as very central for all attractions. No restaurant or bar in hotel.
The room was of good size with a comfortable bed and two pillows. The kitchenette was well-stocked with everything needed to prepare a meal. AC worked well and the shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Our room faced the road and Bratislava Castle but it was very quiet. We were lucky enough to meet Daniil on our first night. He gave us wonderful suggestions on places to visit and eat. We really appreciated his assistance. The hotel is about 1.6 kilometers (1 mile) from the train station and within walking distance of a supermarket and the old town.
