The room looks at an interior space in a building with almost no air. At the same time there is no air conditioner. And worst - below the hotel there is a erotic massage club and streeptease bat from which you hear aggressive noise until 5 am, incl. breaking windows, quarrels, etc.
97 steps to climb to the room in the attic, cigarette smoke in the reception area, and noise from the street at 2, 3 AM can be forgiven considering the low price.
Bedbugs / mosquitoes are a deal breaker. I was bitten on my face, neck, shoulders, legs, knees, and back.
Avoid at all, price until management fix this problem. The place could easily earn a 3 or even 4 star if not for the issue.
So if you are aged between 18 and 30 then this noisy, roudy, stair infested place is just for you. As a seasoned traveller, I love supporting small independant place over the large chains....... never again this one.
Over and out.
However, the room was lovely and clean; comfortable and quiet considering you are smack in the middle of the old town. Staff were helpful and friendly. As long as your knees are good, just consider the stairs as a way of burning off all the beer!
