Very centrally located, in the middle of the old town. No elevator, just stairs until 3rd floor. Big and old rooms. Good price, when I was there. One day there was a lady in the reception who could only speak Slovak. The main problem: It is too noisy and with a bar in the first floor, so you will hear...

Right around the corner from the main square of the Old Town, and a two second stumble from the pubs! Room was spotless, but having to haul luggage up three flights of stairs was a bit of a pain, as was having the toilet & shower down the corridor. Staff are very knowledgeable and can give you tips on where...

This "hotel" is the worst ever for me..Firstly,fabulous location but that's it.... Our room was on top floor with sloping attic roofing virtually touching the top of your bed head.So if you rose from your sleep quickly you bang your head on the sloping roof.Toilets and shower rooms were on opposite sides from the rooms and were shared by other...

We loved our stay at Old City Hotel. The location cannot be beat (just know that it's in the same building as a gentlemen's club - so there are some people outside at night - but we never felt unsafe (we were two women traveling alone). Our room was BEAUTIFUL and the staff was very welcoming! **Just a note -...

Location is perfect, Staff great. Night Club shouting and arguing till five and even six in the morning a definite no no. Though on the third floor without lift this is not a problem but the very late night carousing from down stairs ruins the whole stay.

This hotel is perfectly located right at Old City (Downtown) having main attractions within a few minutes walking (20 min to Bratislava Castle). You will find good pubs and restaurants nearby this hotel. I strongly suggest this one to couples and to single travelers, as the rooms are quite small and just designed to take shower and to rest. Plain...

We went over Christmas time for the xmas markets and i was pleasantly surprised that this hotel is in the heart of Bratislava. Only problem was don't carry heavy luggage as it is near to impossible to get to the top floor. No lifts available. Also when booking be careful they don't give you a shared bathroom.

I loved this hotel. It was great value (a double room for four nights including a weekend at just €200) and the room was pleasant and clean. The location was unbeatable: St. Michael's Gate, a beautiful precinct in the centre of the Old City, so the bars and restaurants were all staggering distance. The staff were friendly and amenable (they...

The rooms are on a passage above 2 floors. The other floors are in constant use all night. I am still here, can't sleep and the staff say the management/owners won't do anything. If you can cancel your booking and stay somewhere else. This is Not a hotel as such, just rooms off a corridor. There is no point saying...

Biggest positive is location. Right in the heart of the old town making everything easily accessible. Staff were friendly and the lock on my room door broke and this was dealt with very quickly and efficiently. Appreciated that greatly. My room was odd however, 3 really rubbish single camp beds, not comfortable at all. No view at all and up...
