The last review was written almost two years ago but sadly nothing seems to have improved since then and I can only endorse the almost universal negative reviews that have appeared in the last five years.
- No AC... which is madness in central European summer time.
- No small fans until the second day. We had a group of 80 booked (woring on a sports event nearby) and the hotel only had a small number of fans upon arrival. The hotel apparently bought some more (how many, I don't know) and I was fortunately to get one but other people missed out and went and bought their own from the nearby mall.
- My room was not serviced on two of the six days I was there. ("We have new staff," was the excuse.)
- My room had stained carpet and chipped furniture.
- Fridge which looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a long time.
- Big accumulation of dust whenever the bed or furniture was moved... which had to be done as there was only one available electricty socket
- The wifi (and I was on the second floor, not somewhere high) had no working wifi for most of the six days I had to stay there.
- No hotel laundry service.... again a general requirement at a 4* hotel.
- Bar not open after 9pm... so closed by the time we got back from the event!
- Indifferant staff with the EXCEPTION of one receptionist who did her best to resolve things in a pleasant way.

Clearly, this is a hotel that is in need of a major overhaul, in terms of management to start with. Certainlty not a 4*, more like a 2*.

I've stayed at this hotel a couple of times as a guest at a business partner events. The hotel is typical slovak hotel with all pros and cons. Food is average, service is quite OK and friendly. However, the rooms are really weird as the management decided to "add" totally unrelated building blocks to it and make use of every inch of space. So some rooms are with a key card, some with a key, there are many unused corridors, every room is simply "different". Bed is sometimes in rooms with windows (while living room is OK) or the window is only on the ceiling, furniture greatly varies from room to room. No amenities are included (except shower gel), rooms are NOT sound proof. Don't let yourself fool with photos on their website, they're definitely hue and saturation adjusted as well as stylized; no fruits are being offered etc. for free; everything has to be paid for. Wifi is also too slow especially when many guests are connected.
If you need to host an event for many partners in Slovakia who are not too poshy, it's fine. Otherwise, choose rather another hotel.

I participated at an event in this hotel and I was disappointed. The hotel is in need of a complete reconstruction. The room facilities are ancient. The room was damp and I had to fight off swarm of mosquitos. The neighborhood is grey and rundown. Avoid.

the hotel is within easy reach of the city center, free parking in front of the house, indoor pool and jacuzzi were included,

The choice at breakfast was not very great, the quality of breakfast was very good.
The hotel also has a restaurant and bar.

Since our room had water damage shortly after moving in, we were immediately rebooked to a higher quality room. We had a safe, fridge, air conditioning, balcony and a separate living room and bedroom.

Very good sleeping comfort.

Upon my arrival I went to the front desk where I was met by a very friendly receptionest. Sadly, next to her sat a security person, eating rost chicken with his bare oily
hands. We are talking a 4star hotel here... After checking in, I went to the lobby bar. 12 minutes before closing time. Tried to order a shot as I expected that this close to closing time they will not be too happy with a new customer. I was told that they have closed already so tough luck! Again, we are talking a 4star hotel... Sadly, this is a very simmilar experience as during my previous stay. Hence, NEVER AGAIN!!!

The spa is open only from 4 p.m., so if you check in at 2 o´clock, you have to wait... A Spa and Conference Centre with closed spa??? Only one sauna was available.
The room was really poor: no supplies like pens and note papers, no bathrobe, no coffee or tea maker and it smelled. A small TV set and 4 TV channels to choose from.
At the bar I had to wait at least 10 minutes to pay for my coffee, nobody cared that I was standing by the counter.
Staff: average, sometimes careless.
Food and wine: horrible.
Conclusion: It is not a 4-star hotel. I would recommend only 2*.

Je to slabý 2-hviezdičkový hotel. Wellness je otvorený len od 16:00, služby sú na veľmi nízkej úrovni.

We spent one night in this hotel having a meeting there and we are still a bit confused. First of all, not sure if a 4* hotel. The hotel itself looks like some kind of accomodation near pool. Even though, rooms are clean and furniture also in spite of fact, that it is old-fashioned. Spa is nice, staff very helpful, we had jacuzzi only for us. However, the "restaurant" is like from another galaxy. I have never seen such stupid and rude waiters. We were having a lunch and since we were not told what we can consume, some gilrs went for a juice that is served for breakfast. Waiters noticed that and immediately turned the machine off. Ok, it should be like that. But when other girls came for the juice and found the machine not working, waiter started to laugh at them aloud saying to themselves "yes, you would like to have everything for free". The way they (one fat waiter and one skinhead) behaved all two days we were dining there was a complete disaster. I have never witnessed something like that. Not even in some kind of a pub. It really made our stay unconfortable and rather annoying. Food was ok, cutlery and plates dirty eveytime we were served (plenty of us had "something" in the plates or something sticky on the fork). All in all, hotel would be ok, but if there is some manager, he/she should immediately do something with that rude waiters obviously fed up with their job. It makes paople disappinted.

I've been to some 4 starts hotel before but this one was something different.
Room was very poor, and bathroom as well compared to other hotels in this category.
"Wellness" is one pool, 1 m deep, and one Jacuzzi.. which was actually full with scale.
The staff was not very friendly (except one young girl on reception who was really very helpful and kind and friendly, thanks for that!), in bar they don't even say "hello" to the guests. Everything smells on cigarette. The breakfast was quite ok. The bowling right next to the hotel makes the ranking "poor" and not "terrible".
