They have 3 sections. 3 star, 4 star and not sure what the third one is. I stayed in the 3 star the first night. Clean. Great shower pressure. But old. Next night for $20 more stayed in 4 star. Much nicer and newer but poor shower pressure. I would have given the 4 star a 5 star rating but for the water pressure. However, there was another section and i glimpsed into the room and it was much better than the 4 star. if i was to stay a third night or go back i would stay there for just $10 more. The Free breakfast was about an 8 out of 10.
We were in this hotel only 1 night . if you arrive by car, not easy to find parking gate. They are enlarging teh hotel . The hotel has 2 buildings .. we were in the "oldest one" .. small walk from the reception , restaurant. Small room , more or less clean . Small bed , bathroom but comfortable et clean. The breakfast was OK. I think is ideal for "business ou short staying"
This is a decent hotel and food was great in the restaurant however the carpet was dated and worn but other than that we had a very good stay and the staff was great. We stayed for 2 nights and saw the local sights.
We stayed at 3-star part of the hotel - where the spa is. Room was average - minibar/fridge, bathrobes, towels, hairdrier provided. Furniture in the room looks quite old. Parking - we could not find it as it's not really clear where the parking lot is! We were truly disapointed with breakfast and with the staff in the restaurant. We came in to have a breakfast few minutes before 9AM and there was litterally nothing to eat! Breakfast stuff totally ignored the sitaution and we had to asked for more food, coffee atc. This happened 2 days in a row and it really made us upset. This is definitely not what you expect in 4-star hotel. Service was really poor - plus staff hardly speaking English. The second night there were some people drinking downstairs in the hallway - I'd say it was the waiter from the bar with some friends - as they were super loud we could not sleep untill 2AM!! We are not coming back!…
I stayed for 4 Nights in the Hotel. The Room was clean and the bed quite comfortable. The Restaurant is excellent. The rooms could be more modern especially the bathroom. But overall it is a good Hotel for business trips and I would use it again!
It is a cosy hotel. I stayed at the 4 star hotel even i payed for a 3 star. Very clean. The heat was good. Comfortable beds. Decent prices at mini bar. Easy to find. Parking is free. Breakfast was very very good. I highly recomand it.
I used to stop off for the night in Austria when traveling by road from Eastern Europe, however, recently I found stopping in Gyor near the Austrian Hungarian boarder is far more cost effective. The Hotel has very secure free parking in back, great, if like me you have a car full of items of value you want to be assured is safe. The room though not a Hyatt or Sheraton is quite ok the bed ( double ) very comfortable and everything works as it should. Top tip they have single beds which I find too small so, if booking solo ensure you book a double. Wifi is free and connection speed is good The real gem here though is the restaurant for dinner in the evening, well worth a try. Breakfast in the morning is ok for a quick refuel but not outstanding. Staff are friendly and accommodating.…
There are 2 parts to the Hotel, one 3* the other 4*, I stayed in the 4* for one night in June. I was on the top floor so the room had skylights, sadly the curtains were not up to the task of keeping light out of the room, 4am is not a good time to rise. Breakfast was good quality, plenty of choice, staff were slow, 5 minutes for coffee is not good. If I am ever in the area again I would consider staying again.
Quite average hotel, acceptably clean, maybe a little bit too dust. The room was right under the roof, so it was quite warm, but what was really annoying were the curtains: impossible to keep the room decently dark after 5 a.m. acceptable quality, not exciting, anyway
we have stayed in kalvaria for just one night ,but it was very nice and comfortable.it is a pretty hotel with secure parking, good breakfast and young and polite staff. the big surprise was the carmen"s restaurant.very elaborate dishes and wonderfull taste.
