Hotel Amstel Hattyu Fogado is nice, small hotel near river and city center. Near the hotel there are nice baths with lots of pools and attractions. Gyor is very beautiful city with lots of interesting places.

The hotel is very clean and it has an indoors and outdoors restaurant room. Provided the weather is good you can enjoy the outdoors spot which overlooks the river. The indoors room is also wonderful. There is music service by a pianist that would play songs from the sixties. I enjoyed them on 17 November, 2015. The food is excellent, The prices are mid-range and the service is good. I had a fish dish because I like fish. The salad is also very good, with large portions served. The hotel and the restaurant are in a very quiet place.

We staid here for two nights. Unfortuanetly our roooms weren't so clean and well-equipped, as you would expect from a 3 star hotel (missing AC controller, broken toilet seat, no hairdryer). Although the sheets and towels were clean and there were TV and mini-bar in the rooms. The air conditioners worked perfectly in our rooms, but not in the dining room on the 1st floor. As regarding the meal they weren't so good. One of our most divisived food was the pizza. Maybe the waiters should informe the guests that it is not like an italian style pizza, it's rather a bread-like pizza. Generally the staff were nice and helpful especially at the reception but some of the waiters aren't so. They were exhausted and because of this (I assume) in some cases unfriendly.

This place is near the river and at a walking distance from both the downtown and the thermal spa. Both rooms and sheets are clean,though old-fashioned.Free wi-fi, fridge and AC. Dogs are allowed. The staff is polite and can speak many languages, profficient in English. At night, it is a quiet place, except for the noise from the street. Just stay away from the restaurant! The food ranges from not good to just terrible, everything tastes prefabricated and reheated, and is too expensive, considering the quality. On top of that, the waiters are slow and inattentive. The buffet breakfast is not much better and is modest at best. Don't expect more than one kind of cheese or any real ham. The breakfast coffee was just as bad as I expected. Also, the breakfast tables are limited and do not get cleaned during the breakfast time, so be sure to hurry up and get yourself a clean one.…

I went there quite a lot and i always felt this is the place where meet the elegance and the profession. Staff are excellent and kind especially Tünde. Tünde (like a fairy) and Zoltán how's really good person and profession in hotel and restaurant manage area. Food are good and good value for your money. Restaurant really big, if you want can deal a big wedding or party in there. This hotel near by the city center and also the famous thermal bath. Ideal place to stay long or short time in relaxed way. Receptionist speaks wild range of languages you don't need to worried about this. I really recommend this place, if you want to meet professional and kind people or if you want to enjoy 100% in your holiday. Thank you Tünde and Zoltán!

One of the worst food what I have ever eaten. Basically everything made by pre-prepared food. They take out from deep freezer and warm up. Super dry, no taste and no care. Stay away of this restaurant unless you want to go back in time and eat the worst food ever. Even for the soup we had to wait half hour. How much time you need in kitchen to warm up some soup?!

The location of the restaurant is really good, pig parking lot is waiting for the traveler. Food was not bad, it was tasty. Waiters were professionals, served fast and polite way. Free internet, clean restrooms, card is accepted. The restaurant itself is huge, therefore I felt it a little bit empty, without proper atmosphere.
