We stayed at this hotel for five nights in June/July. We stayed in one of the apartments and overall it was pretty nice. The room was big and had a good size bathroom. The breakfast every morning was great and usually provided enough for lunch as well. The major issues concerned service. When we arrived our room had not been...

We stayed at this hotel for six nights on a recent trip to Budapest. A review from Trip Adivsor gave us very specific directions to the hotel or else we never would have found it. Once we got there we stayed in a studio apartment two blocks away. We had daily maid service and breakfast was dropped off promptly at...

If we had not taken the airport mini bus, we would not have found the hotel as the sign board was not easily visible from the road and the building gate leading to the hotel looked "ancient". Once you enter the gate, there was no sign or direction to the hotel. A friendly resident in the same building showed us...

found this place online so one never knows, but was pleased with the location, price, and staff! it's quite near the central market, great synagogue, history museum, and applied arts museum. it's also about a 15-20 mins walk to the main tourist squares and just over the bridge from the famous gellert baths! 2 subway stops are nearby and the...

The rooms are spacious, with large windows and beautiful, natural light. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Most of what you'd want to see in Budapest is in walking distance (10-15min). The only thing lacking was possibly the breakfast. Order the muesli with milk and you won't go wrong, otherwise don't expect too much. But for the price, this...

As I stayed in "block B" suite, which is about 300 mt away from the main building, I can't say anything about the hotel itself. Rooms are clean, spacious but the "jacuzzi" bath did lose water...I guess they knew it - may be they will repair one day? However, staff friendly and helpul. The main building is just outside the metro...

We enjoyed our stay at Budapest Museum hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is located right next to the metro station, which makes it very easy to move around Budapest. The staff was very helpful and friendly - we even got complimentary champagne! I would definitely recommend it to others and would return on my next trip to Budapest.

We had a lovely stay in Budapest. The hotel entrance is two large brown doors, don't be put off. Ring bell number 10 then 2nd floor. The hotel is very small but very clean,. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Rooms are very pleasant, clean, good shower and good air conditioning. Breakfast is served in your room, range...

In a word: wow! I stayed for three nights in room no. 1 at Budapest Museum Central with an inspiring view of the Hungarian National Museum just over the road. This quiet, clean, understatedly elegant, functional, very comfortable and safe hotel in a superb location offers great value for money for business travellers and tourists alike. Non-smoking throughout (though smokers...

This hotel was really lovely - the old building in which it resides gives a great atmosphere, particularly as it was snowing the night we arrived. The staff are friendly, the breakfast was nice and served on time, and the under-floor heating ensured the freezing air stayed right outside! The water was always hot and of course I was swayed...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
