I stopped at this hotel for four nights out of season. The hotel is located abot 10 minutes walking distance from the railway station to Budapest. The room was basic but clean and comfortable, There was a mini fridge but in the room but no tea and coffee making facilities. The staff were helpful and friendly particularly in the check...

This is situated at the top of the gangway to Aquamarina Hotel on the footpath beside the Danube. I ordered a langos (cheese, garlic and soured cream "pizza") and some sparkling water. Freshly cooked and very tasty with a lovely view of the ship itself.

It is a bit far from the city centre but there is a ship that leave in front of a hotel, and it is part of a public transport. Rooms are very nice, breakfast excellent. I am a kind of a metro fan, and there is no close metro station, but like a said there is a ship that serve...

We've stayed @Aquamarina begnning of July. The first problem hit us on arrival: our rooms were facing electrical problems 🙄 and they offered us a room in a nearby... Hostel. After multiple discussions the receptionst gave us an extra night for free for this "unforseen event". We finally got to stay @Aquamarina and the mini fridge from one of the...

My friend and I arrived around lunchtime today and were very pleased with this hotel. Whilst a good bit out of town it's clean and quirky and there are a lot of places to eat near by. Having checked in we tried to get something to eat before heading into town on the water taxi. However we quickly realised that...

The first thing to point out is this was a winter visit and we were aware of the pitfalls. The restored Russian paddle steamer is located out in the suburbs of Budapest on the Danube with a few bars and restaurants close by, most of which are closed for the winter. The hotel is effectively a B&B during the winter...

I read the reviews of this hotel and thought this would be a much nicer place than what we saw when we arrived. We were really surprised how far away from city center this hotel is (about 1 hour by public transport). Forget about taking taxi to return hotel at night - the cost is so high that it is...

Stayed here because it was peak summer and prices were very high in all the other hotels. It's certainly not a top class hotel, but everything worked quite efficiently. The breakfast was a bit sparse, but still OK. Rooms weren't enormous but bed really comfortable, so got a great sleep. It's actually the stop for the public boats coming from...

Useless to describe how new or old the furniture is, you don't go on a restored Russian steam boat dating back to the 19th century to 'study' the interior design. You go for the experience! What you don't know is that regardless of what you imagined before, the view when you wake up at 5.45 to check the sunset is...
