We weren't notified in the beginning that there were road works going on just in front of the hotel and we actually drove there, so the access was quite complicated, plus restaurants & bars on the same street all closed because of the road works. I was quite disappointed with this, they could've informed us when we made the booking,...

Roadworks were going on outside, but didn't cause a massive issue. Hotel very apologetic. Hotel was lovely & clean the staff were fantastic and very helpful. We would certainly stay here again. We had a room looking over the river and it was beautiful.

There are some road works going on, so the access is bad and I got my clothes all dirty (mud) because it was raining the day I arrived. The taxis can't stop at the entrance too, so you have to walk 100m or so. I have stayed at this hotel 5 or 6 times before and this stay was really...

Dear Guest, I would like to thank you for sharing your positive opinion about Lanchid 19 hotel. Our neighbourhood is definitely a tranquil place as compared to the rather noisy Pest side. I booked the Panoramic suite on the top floor and the minute I walked in, I was wowed by the spacious room, elegantly decorated in a comfortable modern style, the immense bathroom, and the bedroom separated from the living room by a partition. The entire suite was faced by one of the best terraces I have ever seen, almost 100ft,...

Dear Guest, we really appreciate your wonderful review. Our panorama suites and their terraces probably offer the best views you can get of Budapest and the Danube river. I am glad you also liked the interior of the suite, our staff and the location. As for the street reconstruction, finally it is over so we have a wonderful street now....

Really enjoyed my stay here in this hotel on the buda side of the city but still within walking distance if everything (if you don't mind walking for 15 mins or more). Room and bathroom were clean, breakfast was nice. View from the room very beautiful especially at night. When we stayed there was major reconstruction on the street directly...

Nice boutique hotel in excellent location and view. Highly Recommended. Rooms are clean, spacious and quiet. Lanchid 19 is a wonderful boutique hotel. The rooms were fun, and I want that orange tile from the bathroom; the location was perfect, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Staying in District I / Buda

Neighbourhood Profile
District I / Buda
The historical center to a city with a multifarious and intricate past, Buda has some of the most outstanding buildings in Europe and an enviable natural landscape with stunning views onto the Danube. Centered around the Royal Palace, it provides a glimpse into the golden years of the Austro-Hungarian empire and the lives led by the aristocracy at the time. Matthias Church, beside the palace, hosted many events attended by the royal family and was the chosen place for the coronation of Franz Josef, one of the Hungarian Habsburg kings. Having admired the palace and the church, a visit to Buda will be unforgettable by the stunning and memorable panorama over Pest offered by the seven towered Fishermen’s Bastion.
