When we arrived, after getting lost, friendly and quick check in, we found out we didn't have breakfast included but that was fine, our room was on the 4th floor, when entering we was amazed, the room was very spacious, spotless clean, and even had a kitchen. The location of the hotel is very convenient, about 20 minutes to the...

Stayed here for 4 nights with 2 friends. Room was spacious, more like and apartment with a separate bedroom with 2 single beds and a very comfortable bed settee ( room 34). Staff arranged a taxi from the airport for us, both ways. Cost about £35 each trip. Kettle, fridge, and washing up liquid supplied and it would be easy...

Budapest is a perfect city break for those who enjoy walking and soaking up a different culture and atmosphere. We stayed for 4 nights and still didn't do everything on my list. The local spa baths are a lovely experience - do try them - we ended up staying the whole day.

Recently spent three nights at the City Hotel in a one bedroomed apartment - could not fault it. Spacious enough for one or two people, well equipped kitchenette with everything you would need to make a snack, spacious bathroom with a great shower, comfortable bed (two single beds in a one bedroom apartment), a very good breakfast to start the...

Stayed here with my 2 boys aged 12 and 14 for 4 nights 21-25th August. Nicely located in a quiet area a short walk from the trams and a bit further from the metro, and a pleasant 20-25 min walk from the river. The hotel was clean, friendly and well maintained. The one bed appartment style room was a good...

Myself and a friend stayed here Sunday 24th July - Wed 27th for a short break. Hotel was easy to find and very welcoming staff, got to our room on 4th floor. Room was much larger than we expected and extremely clean. All towels etc were refreshed each day. We opted for breakfast one morning, your usual continental couldn't fault....

we checked into this hotel on a Sunday and sadly any queries we had couldn't be sorted as there was only one person on duty. We were disappointed to find that our daughter was on a different floor to us, also even though we had requested extra pillows they were not provided and when we asked were told that the...

A modern, boutique style hotel, close to all the reactions of Budapest. Large, comfortable, air conditioned rooms. Ours was more like an apartment - a dining room, kitchen with ceramic hob, sink, microwave... Large twin/double bed, floor to ceiling windows overlooking a courtyard... Lovely. Generous, varied breakfasts, hot or continental, nothing too much trouble for the friendly, helpful, charming staff....

The hotel was a good basic hotel within a walking distance from both the zoo and the river. The staff was very helpful and made their best to make us feel at home. The kitchen was well equipped, though we did end up buing a peeler from the nearby market. The room was cleaned every day. The breakfast was better...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
