Booked for family of three for three night visit in November. Room was great - loads of space, amazingly comfortable bed and great in room facilities including snacks and drinks in the fridge (payable at check out). Hotel is well placed if, like us, you don't mind walking - 25 minutes down to the Danube so most of the city... More

We've just returned from a few days in budapest and stayed at the Queens Court Hotel. The hotel overall was lovely and clean. Staff were very polite which is more than I can say for the rest of the hungarian population! Even though I couldn't use the jacuzzi as I am pregnant it looked lovely and many people said it... Not a bad place to stay with spacious studios and kitchens that come in handy when on a budget. Quiet and centrally located near restaurants, ATMs, grocery store and subway/tram stops. We only ate breakfast there on one occasion and it was just okay for the price. To save money purchase your bottled water, soda etc., down the street right... More

Nice and clean and comfortable. Hotel is a bit of a walk from the river but plenty of shops and restaurants in the vicinity. Room was in fact what the Americans call an efficiency or an English studio apartment...kitchenette, bathroom etc. Shower oddly positioned so that it squirted water all over the floor. Room overlooking the courtroom. Somehow the noise... More

Stayed here over my Birthday and it was lovely! We took advantage of the jacuzzi and sauna which was included in the price. Plenty of food places nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

A fantastic place to stay, fairly centrally located in a great area, loads of restaurants nearby and a 20 min walk to Vassi St, most rooms have a small kitchenette, and a lounge, we hired the hotel's bikes and did a circular route to Heroes Sq, Szechenyi, Margaret island, Castle hill, Chain bridge, Shoes on the Danube and finally the... Visited Budapest with the kids for 3 nights and stayed here in a 2 bedroom suite. Lovely stay, kids enjoyed the pool. Location was great within walking distance of all attractions. Room clean and functional with small kitchen area. Good wifi but only bbc news on the tv

I had a room only for one night but will stay here more. Bathroom was nice with washing machine and bath. Nice kitchen area, wifi worked fine and bed was good with good pillows. Also the room was facing to the courtyard, not too many sirens woke me up. A lot of windows with actually two small balconies, handy if... More

Stayed 5 nights in a regular hotel room. The room was a bit smaller than expected based upon reviews I'sd seen, however, the room was nicely renovated and very clean. It's not in the heart of town but that made it quiet. The walk to the main attractions was 10-15 minutes. Many restaurants and bars nearby as well as grocery... More

It was a comfortable stay. Yes, it was in an average sense. But it was not the place that I jump up and down for the quality. For the name of "spa hotel", the pool was too small, changing room attached to the pool has no private door (man and woman together!), which was a surprise. It might mean we... More

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
